Honestly, post faux-retirement, I chose series not because of what fans want to read, but what I want fans to read. That's why a lot of titles are 'heretical' because they run against common consensus. A lot of these choices are deliberate, leading to a 'refreshingly' different view.
Lolicons? Black Bullet Harem? Hikaru Lazy protagonist? Magdala OP protagonist? Biblia, CloPlaTra Reincarnation? I'll die Perverted male lead? I'll die In this case, part of the reason for picking up this series is because Kira had it since 2013, and I thought I should just finish up the work (like I did for a certain sanitary series that causes sanity issues). There is also the issue of wanting to present a varied form of the theme 'reincarnation', which I do find most stories to be simply New Game+, something that really diminishes the value of Life in my sight. (Though the cause of death crosses the line so many times I can't say anything about it) I already had my sights on this series for quite a while (before Kira even worked on it), and I was debating whether to do this series, or Rokka no Yuusha. Of course, Rokka was left over to the Nanomachines, and I later chose to pick up Black Bullet (which I admit is still my favorite series to work on...for the reactions of the readers, muhahahahaha). Once the latter got licensed though, this series is more of a backup (I still have another 7 backup series to choose from...I hate myself for this). Now, working on this volume by itself was ridiculous enough that I have the Yakety Sax on loop the entire time translating this, though there are a few themes I want to convey to the readers that unfortunately, I can't at this point due to potential spoiler alerts. I think I can finish this series this year, but it'll take guts. PS: Given that Chinese is my best language (and mother tongue), I might have a go at translating some Chinese stories XD

^With my sister pressing me for more Biblia, I have to...
Anyway, I'll be working on volume 2 of this series over Clockwork Planet because of one random coin flip. (My voice sounds so weird here)
