Spoiler-Free Discussion Thread Creation Rules
As part of a limited experiment, we have decided to try allowing freer thread creation in this series sub-forum. However, that doesn't mean that anything goes. Please follow these rules:
FAQ Who can create threads? Most members who have been around the forum for a while can create threads. If you're a new member, you may not be able to create new threads yet, but if you have a good idea you can propose it in the Request/Advice thread. We put this rule in place so that people can take some time to get to understand the way our forum works before creating new sub-forum threads. What happens if someone creates bad threads? If you notice a thread that breaks these rules, please report it. If someone repeatedly creates bad threads, they may lose their thread-creation privileges on this site. * What are Template Threads? The following are Template Threads; don't create these (or obvious variations of these), but request them if you need them:
It means we don't know whether this will work. We might change the rules at any time, or even shut the experiment down. We may never do this again if we don't think it works. But we want to try it out and see how it goes. We hope that it can create more interesting, vibrant discussion while helping people better decide if they do or don't want to be exposed to spoilers with simpler spoiler rules.
