Darn, this episode. Traditional School Festival trope much? Cake eating and everything. Well Shiroe's harem keeps on growing. XD

Anyways this just reinforces the hate heaped upon Shiroe, considering there's a lot of NEETs populating Akiba as seen when Lenessia was invited last episode. xP

Watching this episode makes me want to scream at Satelight for putting a WHITE ALBUM 2 scenario! But hey, I like how Shiroe is crumbled when dealing with Minori and Akatsuki.

BTW, does anyone made a GIF animation of Akatsuki rolling on the floor?

I think we know that Akiba changed for the better after Shiroe bullied the city into doing what he wanted but imho it is with this episode that we truly see how much it has changed. Literally from ruins to an actual city =3

And Henrietta~ <3

Btw, did anyone notice that Minori was drooling when she saw the cakes for the other couples? =3

Didn't think i'd like this episode as much as i did.
Bodes good for the next 3.

While the whole cake shop thing was amusing, it was also horribly cliche (yes, yes, it was in the novels, i am not required to love everything in the novels), and ended up lowering my opinion of Minori (seriously girl, have you no self awareness?), though for some reason i forgive Akatsuki for the same actions.

The unavoidable festival time is upon us.
What would anime be without at least one of those?
Shiroe is always a busy little bee.
His break time with Akatsuki was kinda cute ^^
That girl totally has a thing for him.
Looks like she just got some competition in the form of Minori.
That's one "date" Shiroe won't forget for sure!
Relaxing episode.

well and here we are going to the otaku/japan harem cliche but not just a harem but a loli harem, lol shiroi is a lolicon die hard >.> or a lolicon magnetic mc well i'ts hard to see a anime/novel/manga without it, well for the funny episode i give a 8 but for the trash harem and with a lolicon bonus i deduce 4 them my overal for this episode is 4 of 10 ( too much lolicon fetich on this series for my taste(nyanta and serara and now shiro and his loli route begin).

Why not see it as a way to promote their cakes during a festive season? It's an established practice in many businesses after all =3

With the "couple=free!" bait, it's not hard to get enough suc- I mean potential customers coming in =3

There are literally millions of businesses out there that run promotional traps like this. Offering their services or products for free to sink their hook into the potential consumer and once the consumers has had a taste, they'll keep coming back for more. A very standard business practice.

Plus in universe it's really not hard for Adventurers to make money. One of the earlier problems in the series was how easy it was to support themselves with minimal effort with an inn and food. So it's not strange at all wanting to be able to spend gold for fun on good food and items. Adventurers can easily gather money to buy things and if the ones who run businesses are a bit in the red on sales for the month? No problem! Go out and hunt a few mobs and the books are balanced.
