That is correct. Monir either didn't know, or did it so he wouldn't forget in two weeks. It's all good. I'll leave it open if people want to speculate about the second half of the series, but if people start going off topic I'll close the thread.
Enjoy!

I feel like the second half of the show is gonna be brought to a whole new level compared to the first half. I remember having to force myself to continue to watch TTGL the first half (because a friend kept assuring me it would get better) and it ended up getting pretty epic haha.
Anyway, I'm hoping for something like that to happen, because I don't like the monster of the week formula. This episode hoping for the goal behind Satsuki's plan to be revealed. This lady always has some hidden motive haha. |

Satsuki is at best going to end up as the lesser of two evils (the greater being Ragyo and Ragyo's coterie). And of course she's grooming Matoi to be an ally. She's just one more subject to add to her peasant army, one with the skill and power to eventually become a general, once properly tamed.

One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter. Good and evil is simply a difference on perspective.
At least Satsuki has a goal and she works toward it. Maybe some good might amount out of whatever she's doing. Maybe not. In comparison, what has Matoi done? Nothing. But of course she's the good guy, because we know the power of friendship can only be used by the partners of justice and good. Blargh. |

So that we know a little more about Satsuki and her family, I'm hoping we hear of 'NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDIIIII IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSTTTTTTTTT TTTTTTTTT BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEECCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHH' soon.

That should shake things up a bit...
The physical appearance and general circumstances of banned-from-school newspaper guy slightly red-herringed me into think that it was Maiko Ogure in disguise at first. The actual outcome was, shall we say, more interesting. |

Naturally we have Ryuko going through some hesitation now after what happened; being afraid of losing herself to rage and hatred again. It's cliche, but I figure anyone who's human would probably feel that way after such an experience.
It's starting to show signs of slowly edging her towards her changing her reasons for fighting too, doing it for the sake of others rather than pure revenge. So it appears the domination plot is a way of getting REVOCS to drag Nudist Beach agents out into the open by forcing REVOCS uniforms onto all of the schools in the country. At least that's from what I understand. There's another couple of things that I'm curious about too that's not very obvious though; like what the "clothing is sin" statements mean, what COVERS is, and just what Satsuki's "plan" really is. Satsuki's relationship with her mother isn't easy to figure out either, she seems to follow Ragyo's orders with no complaints whatsoever, but there appears to be some differing ideals? Taking into consideration her "clothing is the world" statement. And with Senketsu destroyed, just how is Ryuko going to fight now? She must still have some relevance though as Satsuki seems to need her; considering she was ready to kill Nui if she brought that scissor blade down. Oi, things are getting complex.

Great! This episode the story really begins to move. It will be intresting to see how Ryuko gets Senketsu back. Maybe Satsuki is planning this as well.
The scenes with Ragyo are intriguing - clothing is the sin, clothing is the world, COVERS - many plot threads are there |
