Interesting at how close the series is keeping with the source material. And yay we get introduced to the "Golden Retriever puppy" Rundelhaus Cole xD
Hmm...Krusty also seems quite as competent as Shirou. Its nice when a lot of characters are on par with the lead character. Also the Princess...she's going to be a lot of fun to watch I think, the Landers are a pretty complex bunch after all with the politics on Nobility and more or less City-states. Anyways pretty solid episode overall. Most of the setups to the next arc is set with the Eastal Nobles conference and the Training Beach Party/Session

(sort of) my live reactions to this ep ((I kinda woke up late and subs were already out)).
---- Oh hey Rezarick's still alive and well ... people on /a/ thought he'd get chopped out. Girl with the doll is pretty cute. Love that Round Table meeting. Especially that Soujiro and Isaac part with the Rock-Paper-Scissors followup between the crafting guild leaders. "She followed me to get to Akatsuki." (I would definitely be super creeped out if that happened in real life.) It's interesting that they mentioned the magic bag situation ... I don't particularly recollect that being in the LN. Loving how everyone magically got changed into different clothes to enter the city. I like the BGM for the ballroom scene. And the dresses (particularly Akatsuki's, at least Henrietta's taste in dresses is pretty good).

Summer training camp...
That Shiroe really has the smartest ideas ^^ Let me see if I got this right. People of the land are NPCs, but they are aware of everything almost like normal players. So the longer the game is going on, the more the NPCs became aware. They seem to be evolving. Don't get why they started considering players as a threat. It's probably due to some of the rouge players attitudes.. Anyway, things are starting to heat up slowly.

I'm glad that I'm not the only one who noticed PK party
hahaha this kind of episode usually very boring but somehow Log Horizon managed to make it enjoyable poor Michitaka... it must be hard on him to leave his business... and Henrietta proved that she could be a stalker for Akatsuki Beach scene and night party scene are packed into one, eh??? Perfect! I also loved the interaction between Round Table members to conclude this episode... we're facing a difficult question... Who's better between Minori in swimsuit or Akatsuki in night gown?? Akatsuki is so beautiful <3 <3 <3 thanks for Henrietta for handling Akatsuki's wardrobe |

What can I say, looks like Krusty can also be cunning and smart just as Shiroe. Must be the glasses that help him becoming the representative of the Round Table.
BTW, I wonder what happened to Silver Sword? Will I ever see them again? Anyways, just hoping that the Landers from Eastal aren't pull any punches like war. This dialogue happening on this episode is crucial for the players! |

There's one thing that I find very interesting in this episode too. In the segment before the OP, the conversation between the two hunters might give us some idea of how the Landers view the Adventurers. While the younger chap understandably look to them with admiration, his mentor has a less rosy view of them.
"What can they do? Can they live with the land? Adventurers can't create anything, only to battle, to bleed." I feel that this clearly shows that not everyone sees Adventurers as heroic knight errants or allies of the people. Some, perhaps many, might see them no better than mercenaries who make their living through violence and bloodshed, even if it's the monsters that's spilling the blood.
