They missed a few quotes which i really wanted to hear. Like "Doesn't that mean the production guilds got suckered?" or Eins from Honesty saying "We will work on improving relationships with the People of the Land"
And the part where Eins is explaining the tax. It isn't 1 gold every time they use the guild hall. It's one gold per day, collected on the first entry. And what kind of spies wear something so damn revealing? |

Just watched the episode. Surprised that Shiroe chose not to stand on the stage with the others. Doesn't he realise it is his preference to stay out of the limelight that adds to his villain reputation as well?
It is a good lead into the next arc. Just curious, has Log Horizon been confirmed for 26 episodes? Or just slightly more than 13?

For the n00bies, that was a rescue operation made by Crescent Moon. So, they are gratefull to them and not to Log Horizon.

Crescent Moon was the guild that actually took them in. Remember that none of them really know Shiroe, while Shouryuu was the 'party face' for most of the rescue. Even Tohya and Minori were in the Crescent Moon building at first, but they decided to follow Shiroe purely because they know him.

What a twist: never expected the People of the Land to have a say in the adventurer's politics. Even with the ep where they met that old farmer and his grandkids, I still didn't think of the POTL as, well, people until this episode, or at least didn't think about there being an existing monarchy/kingdom who would be curious and/or hostile to the power that is the council

Well, it was already hinted at before - for e.g. the party's stay in the village and encounter with the People of the Land there before returning to Akiba. Indeed, as Shiroe already said, this is not the Elder Tale the gamers were familiar with and they are not the Adventurers that the People of the Land were familiar with as well.
As for Log Horizon the guild, well, it is basically a support group/party for Shiroe. He does need friends and reliable people around him. And they have just introduced an important character - Princess Raynesia.

Fascinating. Let's see what the people who live in this world can do. They certainly have a right to be upset at the way they've been treated by the adventurers thus far.

Who doesn't like curry lol
Probably since he's in the ED. I think there's going to negotiations with the People of the Land, but another faction will appear and a war is inevitable. Also, what are the fairy rings? Are those the rings that they kept focusing on during the episode? Do they do anything special?

Conference was a big success.
That Shiroe is just wow! Who knew you could just invent stuff that weren't originally part of the game. Shiroe would be a really great supreme ruler. He's shaping the world according to his noble ideas of a well functioning society. Well, it was about time they brought in some order to the lands. As it usually is, they switched one set of problems for the other. They got rid of one big problem and no a new one is starting to present itself.

I don't know how they're visually represented in Elder Tale, but in folklore a fairy ring would generally be some sort of natural circle of plants on the ground: often a circle of magical mushrooms, or something similar. So it's not something you wear, but a place you go to.
