According to a certain anon I asked, the song is a duet with a male and female role. The Mu's girls cover both roles even in the single versions, so they're basically doing a duet with themselves.

My god I love this episode but I love more Opening with as we see images of some card I think anyone who knows these cards will know what I mean

Honoka is the new president council student so cool

I loved the scene where she drinks tea it made me think of another president of the student council

Well, I suppose that's one way of getting themselves out of the corner they wrote themselves at the end of the first season (aka, whats the point of having Muse when the Love Live competition was over)... Have ANOTHER Love Live. But... why? It doesn't really make sense, unless the competition was seasonal rather than annual.

It's back! Safe to say that they are back in all their glory. It's a real treat for my eyes and heart to see my lovely Umi, and as the vice president of the school no doubt...interesting. Honoka as the school president...didn't see that coming, but a neat little turn none the less.

It's now Muse's to take on another test...to conquer Love Live! and defeat A-Rise. It's going to be a tough journey, but with Eri's dance instructions, Nico's mascot charm, Maki's charisma, and Umi's song writing abilities how can they possibly lose?

Long story short, it's great to see Muse and the rest of the gang again, well seeing my beloved waifu Umi again, of course. This is going to be a really great season I can feel it.")

Oh God the most important things in this Episode 1:

(1) I really wish they went on with this: Love Live the Musical, sounds good.
(2) Honoka is officially God.

The most surprising part of this episode was Honoka becoming the student council president. I did not expect such a development, and I was even thinking we were still watching a dream scene for a while (the awesome musical sequence at the start certainly didn't help with that).

All in all a solid first episode. I expect a lot of fun from S2, but I also hope it doesn't play it too safe and copy S1's formula down to the letter like Strike Witches S2 did.

The girls are back! I was rather surprise too that Honoka became Student President, with Umi and Kotori in tow. Guess it will be a fun school year with her around.
