I don't remember correctly why I stopped reading this one, I just remember that I was tired of protagonists with effeminate appearance and in this one the MC chooses exactly that appearance (despite the fact that he could choose and his normal appearance was large and robust?), also the fact that if the girl was assertive the MC became the "dominated" part easily.
On the other hand, something that I liked is that the first arc was ralatively dark and the characters close to the MC seemed to suffer from mental problems. Although the exposure of the MC's power was not satisfactory, the MC is shown having trouble killing the enemies of the first arc, the MC is supposed to be the pinnacle of power being the harem proof of this. |

^I find it great when people are surprised that despite his harmless appearance he is super sadist
MC's power is actually strongly sealed by himself Not only his appearance is a human, his full power is also within human realm This is because it would be boring if he uses his original almighty power I like that secret TUUUEEE is not the main attraction of this novel We don't need another Sugar

hmm, I'm finding myself wanting to like this but there a few things that bug me by the end of the first arc.
- The school factor was really minor. Did it have to be a school? He was suspended really early on... - The majority of the first arc was the MC playing detective in solving a mystery. Some of which was unnecessarily drawn out. Like the principal sending the MC to the library to read the book which he later then personally explains to the MC's classmates (along with the MC). - The MC's schoolmates. They didn't serve much of a role throughout the arc apart from information sources. - The MC's personality is a bit hard to grasp. i.e. his Maou persona vs his human persona. since most of the time the narrative from his point is from his human persona influenced by human values. - The political aspects are strange. For some reason the monarch of a foreign country (elf queen) was at that military meeting but the emperor wasn't. That plus the fact that the empire wasn't kissing elf ass was strange. From the elf queen's pov most of the problem's were empire's issues causing her country damages. |

^ It's temporary Like putting a layer of human on top of you Quote:
- I really like the mystery and it feels better than some dude just doing expositions - The special students each provided a piece to complete the puzzle based on their respective backgrounds which is nice. Once again, not just boring exposition. - He's trying so hard to act human, but sometimes his monologues are crazy like wanting to rape those classmates - Emperor was sick. Empire is vastly stronger than Elf Queendom. Elves were the ones who should be grateful to the empire for keeping secret that Elves can be processed into life prolonging elixir

Then the elves' kingdom must only be a kingdom in name, as their effectively only a vassal in that case. Also the elven princess is effectively a hostage (and she doesn't seem to have any guards...). She is probably also the only heir to the throne since the queen only recently took a consort.
The beastman country is probably in a similar situation since their only living royalty is in a foreign school (again with no guards?). The reason for them being there was also kinda weak (satefy? since the country was in the middle of a war). Any sane country would try to pull their heirs back to their own country after the events that occurred in the first arc. |

The Empire literally assisting them in their wars, and probably the safest place for them I found out who the 2nd wife is Former human and most likely a great magician or researcher
