I love how the doc is kept as a constant character in the Netflix MCU. Kind of like Coulson in MCU Phase 1. I guess we know who the Defenders are going to have for their medical treatment.

I hope this series manages to avoid the only consistent flaw I've felt all the other netflix MCU series have had. They all ended up dragging to various degrees before the series finale. So it'd be nice if Iron Fist somehow managed to remain exciting throughout every episode.

Of course, this is using the assumption that meeting someone at a hospital while working there is normal, regardless of why they were there for treatment. |

Looks like another Daredevil/Luke Cage type of series to me. Both of which I was disappointed in. Probably because I'm more of a flashy superhero fan and not a comic book fanatic. Both just had too much....talking and not of explosive pow-pows. Then again, that's just me. I'll check out the first episode that's for sure.

To me that's like them whining about Luke Cage being African-American or Jessica Jones being a Caucasian Woman. I'd understand if it was something like with Doctor Strange and the Ancient One or Homecoming, where the fat and nerdy friend was Ganke to Miles and they just replaced with him someone else to fit the new Peter Parker.
But this is a comic adaption and he was white in the comics.

I just don't get it. People don't realize how dumb they are being on that front. White people can be master martial artists...But to be fair I suppose those people aren't actually looking up the character. Just see a white guy as a lead in this show and think the creators are whitewashing. Not thinking about the fact that it's pretty racially insensitive to presume that a master martial artist character has to be Asian...
