A extreme distance attack to liberate American shipgirls from the Abyssal would seem reasonable. Most of the fleet could not make that voyage. Not enough fuel and tankers to carry it to keep the fleet steaming.

Now one wonder if they will do something similar for the regular game's Spring event.

Pretty much a "very grown up" Shimakaze. A bit cliche, especially for the socks and all.
No indication for her seiyuu yet, but as I expected, she won't have a proper english considering her intro

She imho looks a bit too happy - tbh if I were an american admiral and would put her next to Yamato I'd be embarrassed as hell. (I knw she had to be quirky, FBB after all lol)
The damage art kinda suggest her being a huge airhead.

Little voice sample here. The sound is a bit too muffled so I can't really tell, but as expected, her english is pretty broken.

I find it appropriate, in a strange way, that Yoshinori is the one drawing the iconic ships of the two rival countries.

Well, the Americans had an enormous navy so I'm not surprised that the Abyssals had to be stronger to compensate.

Ending scroll revealed Iowa's seiyuu: Hashimoto Chinami. Pretty much a new seiyuu like Agano-class' Yamada Yuuki.
