New Gundam Seed OVA

Goods and bad news. I see alot of people want to know what happens after the war well Bandai heard your screams and has brought you "Hoshi No Hazama De" ("Between The Stars"). This OVA will be on th 13th and final Seed DVD. However the OVA will be 5 minutes long.

5 minutes?

They should make it like an Endless Waltz or something.

5 minutes? Dude, that's barely any time to get the OP and ED out of the way. Sheesh.

Sounds like it's just an extended ending for Ep 50. It's probably not even worth it to call it an "OVA"... (though Bandai is hyping it as such)

Sounds pretty dumb to me. How much can they add to the ending with just five minutes man?

Well the main complaints by people (at least on the mbs I've seen) was what happens to everyone after the war. I guess this should answer some of the questions.

Well, if you've ever watched Yume De Aetara, then you'll know that 5 minutes can seem to take forever :P

Hmmm... maybe Dragonball Z would have been a better comparison...

In that case they can get alot done. Shoot using DBZ time measuring they could create enough footage to more than satisfy the Seedlings.

actually in DBZ time...Well, lets face it. That time would be wasted.

1st minute, Athrun & Cagalli stare at Kira for the whole minute waiting to drift towards each other

2nd minute, they get closer...still drifting

3rd minute, they get very close...Prepares to meet Kira

4th minute, They meet Kira and stare at each other in amazment, hugging and such

5th minute, a conversation finally starts and the camera scrolls upwards towards the stars and fades to black.... Credits start

Damn 5 minutes. I hope they explain everything and show the sex scenes. Now all they need to do is release season 2 of getbackers.

I think they are just going to spoil it again. Bandai seems to be lousy its touch on Gundam Seed. Too slow at the beginning and way too fast to conclude on its ending.

No Seed was schedule to be 50 episodes. When the schedule came out it was slated to run for 52 weeks. What people didn't know at the time was that Seed wouldn't air episodes on two different occasions due to specials.

Where did you see that at?
anyway from mahq.net news

There's been some speculation over the last few days as to whether the series will run 50 or 52 episodes. It was reported here almost a year ago that it would run 52 episodes based on an article from Yahoo! Singapore. However, a Japanese TV schedule site lists it as being 50 now.
There's been some confusion lately as to the episode count for Gundam SEED. However, it is now confirmed to be 50 episodes. The 52 episode count previously came from an old Yahoo story which mentioned 52 weeks. After episode 26, there was a one week break, and now after episode 45 there is another week break, which accounts for 52 weeks.
