I got the scene I've been waiting for! Yay! They did tone it down a bit, but it still served its purpose. And I'm glad they at least alluded to Nureha's past. I think it's extremely important to know her as the character she was written to be, so that she won't be seen purely as a villain, but as a somewhat broken person who's living on the edge in constant fear and desperation. I've seen a lot of people complain about Studio Deen, but Nureha was animated surprisingly well in the episode.
I've edited this after watching the subbed version. At first I ranted about Nyata's constant nya-ing and felt suspicious of his intentions with Serara, but clearly she's the one with issues. An obsession with a middle aged catman? Hrm. Anyway, I can't help but like both Nyanta and Serara. They're sweet. Although, I still think that if I were trapped in the world of Elder Tale with Nyanta and had to listen to him "nya" for more than 5 seconds I would probably decapitate him. However, I'm pretty certain I would have defected to Plant Hwyaden by this point anyway. So long as I could be a high ranking member of the guild . Anyway, I'm getting carried away with myself. Moving on... Tetora/Tetra/Whatever... the fans seem to despise her, but I actually enjoy her hyper-delusional antics. Especially in this episode. The fact that Spoiler for in case you haven't heard:
Love it every time Akatsuki kicks Naotsugu lol Overall, a mostly cutesy episode worth watching especially for the final few minutes. Last edited by crowsbeak; 2014-12-27 at 08:24. Reason: Re-watched with subs |

Nice episode, but I still don't understand how a tank can be fazed by Akatsuki's kicks...
Also, damn, they finally delved a little into Nureha's darkness, but of course they cut it down a lot for the younger audience, which is very sad. She does deserve full recognition of her situation. And next week, we're moving to China!

I think it did a good job at portraying Indicus as vile as possible, and traumatized Nureha as well as they could. They obviously can't touch on sexual abuse matters, so this is as good as we can get from NHK I think.

To think that Intix (or Indicus) is controlling Nureha is so cruel. It clashes with the whimsical Valentine's Day event that's happening in Akihabara!
By the way, what is Rudy-kun doing where he supposed to receive Isuzu's sweets? I wonder if he's a spy or someone that looks like him infiltrating Akihabara undetected? |

Actually this is the G rated version of Intix's abuse, the novel version is worse so I understand. A cute valentine's day episode, looks like Akatsuki and Minori avoided the temptation of peeking into Shiroe's heart using the fruit, even if they just avoided it by accident. Looks like we're going to get Kanami in greater detail for the first time now.
Looks like not even our favorite Cleric can compete with Nagotsu's love for panties. Good thing Akatsuki's auto kick skill kicked in and stopped him from saying it. |

Funny episode with various attempts to use that fruit. Tetra is such a troublemaker. Not sure if this is better or worse than the last time Akatsuki and Minori competed over Shiroe, Akatsuki seems a little bit calmer than last time.
Slightly odd how half was Valentine hijinks (Soujiro's harem has reached ridiculous levels) as well as some updates on more serious stuff, like no more royal guard system (outside of an anti-Naotsugu one ) and Misa's hand is still missing. Guess resurrecting wouldn't fix that problem either? Nice to have a breather episode, next week, time to find out what's all the hype is about the legendary Debauchery Tea Party's leader. |

cute episode!
I like especially when Tetra mentioned Kanami Jealousy intensifies I also like Akatsuki's logic... no money to buy the fruit.. just hunt the items so Marielle still on lower rank in Naotsugu's head comparing to pan-- *kicked by Akatsuki* oh noo.. don't abuse Nureha! that Intix is really cruel and evil meanwhile, next episode is about Kanami.. they actually animated it! |

Yes indeed...really felt sorry for Nureha with this ep. Indicus really does come across as a vile character here...I wonder what her deal with Shiroe is? Weird. Also this ep sheds light on Nureha's actions in the last ep of season one as well.
Was nice to finally get Kanami introduced by name, and it looks like next week she will be a focus as well. Excellent.
