The art was pretty good, and it should as there wasn't much motion this episode.
And Demi's wife is just fantastic. I'm loving KR's voice, it fits him very well. But did they REALLY have to go the route of "cartoon villain meeting in darkness" with the Ten Seats? Wow, interesting. Instead of going to book 8 or 9, the next episode is going to do the valentine chapter from Nyanta's Recipe of Happiness manga.

I watched the raw because I could NOT wait to see Plant Hwyaden. I'm always drawn to complex characters and I just love Nureha. When I first started watching Log Horizon, when it began airing on Crunchyroll, I really loved the show but I couldn't find any characters with whom I could identify or choose as a "favorite"... until Nureha. So she has been the main factor in my adoration of the novels and the anime. She keeps me interested because I want to know what will happen with her more than any of the rest. I'm also really enjoying Tetra. I guess she could be seen as somewhat "complex" as well, which is probably why I like her.
Anyhow, as for this episode... at first, I felt the same as aohige about PH meeting in the darkness... it seemed a little silly and cliche. But I actually love how they did it, although I imagined the guild hall to be a lot more elaborate. At any rate, it fits with how the novel described it as "cold." I do hope that they show the scene mentioned in the novel between Indicus and Nureha in the next episode, but I won't hold my breath. It is truly a shame that the show has to air on a children's network (or whatever it is that forces the studios to omit certain facts that are present in the novel) because they really could have made it so much more emotional and engaging otherwise. I don't really know much about where the show is going since I've only read the novels up to chapter 7, but I hope Spoiler for in the future:

KR's introduction along with Plant Hwyaden guild was a highlight imo this episode. And not only that, I suppose they should show more of the important parts from the novel to be adapted soon.
Good buildup overall with the comedy as well. Next episode should be amusing.

I can picture mass desertions along with fighting over who would be the new leader and finally ending in a complete destruction of one of the largest combat guilds on the server. Not to mention the round table alliance would lose a major bulk of their military force.

Also, every other important in LH seems to take place in darkness. They were sitting in the dark in the light novel, too, weren't they? His purpose was to negotiate with Kinjo again because he failed to properly communicate his thoughts the first time in the cabin. Kinjo wouldn't have continued negotiations if Shiroe didn't muscle his way through Abyssal Shaft.

I'm kinda sad that Akatsuki wasn't shown with her hair down like this illustration in the novel

Ahahaha, I'm looking forward to the next episode. It would be fun to see Naotsugu suffering along side Shiroe now that he too have, mmm, two women fighting over him And it seems that Umeko-san now has another source of entertainment too

meh. Boring option Shiroe.
I would have taken the money glitch and buy everything. Screw world balance. lol @ Demikas and wife scene. Very Cute. I liked the conclusion between Demikas and Shiroe, might just be my favorite part of the 'raid' portion of this entire season arc. And Tetora, trap confirmed. I'm sure the ones that read it already knew, but I don't follow the LN, buts its nice that my trap senses are as accurate as ever. Even if her avatar is female, her mannerisms was screaming guy. Because no actual female players we encountered acted so overcompensating to go "hey i'm a girl" If William of Silver Sword admired Shiroe so much, why did he decline joining the Round Table? Was it because he was waiting to be invited with the rest of the 'tea partiers" but when he got to the meeting, it was just a plan to do some 'housekeeping' instead of a raid, so he got mad?

To be honest though, I think it's a good thing that Nanami wasn't included in the anime. In the first place her inclusion in the novel seems more like a shoutout to HML and was imho unnecessary. In fact folks who don't read HML would be utterly confused as in who this kid is and where had she come from. One can replace her with, say, Ashlynn, and still achieve more or less the fuwa-fuwa purpose =3 And since HML has more clashes with canon compared to WWB and Nyanta's Recipes (I think even doujinshi can be more faithful to the novel than it is), one can be excused if he disregards the happenings in HML

Ahh, what a satisfying mid-season ending. This entire series has just been so much fun. Shiroe and Demikas gained some nice closure and Demikas had that cute scene with his wife. There's too much to comment on so I'll just leave it at that for now.

That was a good ending for the arc. With this we've reached the end of my detailed knowledge of the material, I'm looking forward to experiencing non spoiled versions of what comes next. I have cursory knowledge of the next arc but not in detail. It should be a refreshing change.
