Nice to see that the anime used Maryelle's weapon in Chain Chronicle.

Also, is it me, or did this episode have a lot less DEEN QUALITY? There weren't many scenes, if any, where the characters looked horribly off-model.

Seeing Enheart's weapon Byakumaru having an ominous flavor text, not only he becomes powerful when he's fighting many adventurers, but he's been possessed by an vengeful spirit.

While I'm surprised that Raynesia joined the fight, I hope that Akatsuki could learn her own Overskill!

Yeah, just that I'd expect Kushi to have a more pronounced entry instead, considering that she was one of the Drei-Klauen . Even Seine did better, though to be fair she is one of the protagonists in the Replay novels =3

Both Kushi and her companion, Yaezakura are from D.D.D, though I'm not sure if Kushi has left the guild or if she had just gone inactive.

As for the rest, kmdarky has actually named most of them in a Bahamut forum post. If you're interested, I can provide a translation =3

Curious that some of those people are listed as having fanfic origins, as I know both Rieze and Tatara/Amenoma were in the novels proper. If they came from fanfics they must have been fanfics written before that volume of the novels came out, and the author decided to adapt them in... which I suppose is entirely possible.

Anyway, episode itself.
Fun setups imo.
Liked the development that the murderer went berserk from the sword's flavor text, not just a lander actually going rogue himself.

The other sword with the flavor text of shredding armor looks like its going to come into play. I think the store owner is going to give it to Akatsuki at the battle climax to make up for selling it to the lander (even though it wasn't really her fault)
