It might be it doesn't automatically assign a driveletter to it.
On your desktop, go to the "My computer" icon and right click on it. choose manage from the menu In the next screen go to "disk management" and look if it shows a drive of 1GB with no letter or maybe a letter that has been assigned to an existing drive ( or if you have those: maybe a network drive wich is often the case on my PC) allready . If that's the case: right click it and choose "change driveletter and paths"and go ahead and choose an unused driveletter .. ignore the warning it gives in this case and click ok. You now should have the pendrive assigned to a driveletter and it should be visible in My Computer/Windows Explorer

Another thing to try...
See if you can plug your USB flash drive onto a USB 1.1 port, no USB 2.0 ports. If it works on a USB 1.1 port, then the USB flash drive is damaged due to electrostatic discharge. Call them for warranty replacement. |

Here's another question
When you plug it in does it show in my computer? If it does then it's probably the autoplay settings have been altered so that the root of the drive doesn't show up when you plug it in. One thing you could try if this is correct is to format the drive as that would probably get it to show and if you have any preset software on the drive itself then just move it off first before you format the drive. |
