Probably. Those screen caps are what is used by the official site. I dunno if they got the screen caps on the official site but someone maybe guessed the right url. I have been checking Story 3 since yesterday but it still isn't used yet.

LOL, that was classic with OPPAI thanks to Issei's ability. Oh well, the fight involving Kuroka wasn't entirely resolved but overall pretty fun episode.

I still love how they are building up Loki now rather than in the LN where he only appeared in Volume 7, but why did they change Ise missing a Nuke Dragon Shot to a rather strong punch? That was the scene I was waiting the most in this episode.

Loki's hairstyle is really weird. Like, WTF weird. But he's suposed to be a Trickster Evil God, so it fits him I guess.
I never thought Fenrir had spikes in his shoulders, but it's not bad.

Now, to the changes that are actually important:

The "fight" against Loki was OK I think. Him being forcefully teleported was better than running away.

I still don't understand how showing Barakiel now will "ruin" Volume 7's events. It's not like Akeno started hating him then.

I'm going to wait for the subs to make sure what they are talking about in the changed scenes.


Next episode is going to be filled with Best Girl Rossweisse, just like this was filled with Best Girl Kuroka Greatness, I'm really enjoying this Season.

The LNs were always fast paced so I don't really see a problem. The first 3 episodes didn't feel rushed for me at least.

You cant complain about the pacing anymore thats for sure. Though again i find myself underwhelmed by this. Loki and Fenrirs designs personally i do not like. The Koneko Kuroka thing was fine. The fights both between Loki Fenrir and crew along with the other fight were extreme letdowns IMO. I personally was glad to see Irina and Ross was funny as heck kinda what i imagined. It wasnt bad but again DxD usually shines in the big moments like this and this time it wimpered

The fights are better done than in the previous Seasons. TNK is a really small studio, you can't expect top-notch animation from them. Average is their best, except when it comes to the Finales, and those aren't great either.

@EDIT: I just watched the subs and I'm even happier with this episode now. They added my favorite line from Rias: "I'm always watching you." So cute. <3
If I could change my rating from 9 to 10, I would just because of this. <3

Not novel reader here(but i will soon) but i liked this episode. It was really funny. If there was anything to complain about from me, it would probably be how koneko acted. It seems odd that she would allow herself to go over to her sister but then change her mind without much resistance after some fighting words from Rias and Issei. Perhaps I've seen this situation too many times. Sometimes, i feel like i'm watching a parody when i'm watching this lol

About Koneko, it was pretty much the same in the LN, it was kind of forced, but not to an extent where it's annoying (To me at least).

DxD is a parody of shounens at certain points. Instead of friendship, the MC gets stronger through boobs. Training arcs are skipped and don't drag for years. And some other spoilery stuff.

Not to say it doesn't have it's serious moments, but the comedy definitely was this series selling point when I first found it.

this ep issei finally push rias' "buttons" go iron man mode vs koneko's dark sister cause her & goku-2 to retreat.

yet norse in mix give odin want sign pact yet here loki to crash party (yet wonder where thor or hulk smash on it?)

give now koneko seem now be back in focus while akeno still got her dad issues.

next ep bring in valkyrie girl.

Only complaint I have for the episode is that Rias's "iyaan" wasn't as pronounced and exaggerated as I was expecting. Was expecting more of a *snap* like at the end of season 2 for Issei, but this works too I guess.

But overall, enjoyed the episode. Kuroka was perfect levels bitch and seductive. Tannin was quite humorous with his dismay at Issei.
