That's just a little extra that comes with the Shuffle! Limited Edition DVDs. You get one girl per volume, install it and it adds them to the house.
As for what they do... I'd guess not much. I've never actually played it though, but I know a few people in this forum have |

I have the Nerine pack.... yeah, it installs as a screensaver and you can also run it in a window (click the little easter egg prizes as they pop up .... little articles of clothing to choose from mostly). Not too different from an e-pet other than not having to feed it.

It appears that there really will be another game:

eh.... I left my Nerine game running for a while today while I worked on some documents ..... (what a stupid little e-pet game but ah well). She now has a couple of new dresses, several ribbons, a 2 piece swimsuit, anddddddddd a pair of neko mode gloves. O the humanity.
I might think it was a bit less silly if she wasn't in chibi style but its hard to get very much more than bemused by it. I can't decide if I'm supposed to click on her little word balloons or not. And she does this odd little thing where she closes her eyes, bobbles her head and does a little stepdance thing. I have no idea what that is about.

yeah, sometimes she makes it and sometimes the book falls off her head... she sings, she falls asleep, she "hearts", she has tea, she writes in her journal... outside on her patio she waves to people offscreen, she gets faint ..... I haven't counted but there may be 40 or so different behavior widgets.

Really, the true gimmick in the screensaver/ShuffleHouse mini-game is the whole "collect them all and they'll go visit each other!" aspect. The more characters you add, the more different scenarios you encounter, which is (needless to say) a bit more interesting than just the one girl being by her lonesome all the time. Of course, it's still no lie to call it a gimmick in every sense of the word, but at least it's a bit cute.

I have to say my favorite one is Sia and Primula. Their emoticons and scenarios are very funny to watch, especially Sia's dartboard scenario with Asa ^^ Classic! If you guys have noticed, depending on the clothes they were, you can get different emotions as well...
The games are quite simple, but there a a lot of bugs they need to work out! I've seen floating teacups, books, missing/frozen characters, and lots of other few things, though i think the biggest setback is the fact you can't leave the game running in the background without cutting the sound! *Kuso!* |

I may have to fudge my morals and dink the Net for at least Primula and Sia just to see what 3 aliens do together. Those morals come under the line of "I'll buy a lot more Shuffle! figures or later OST to assuage my guilt but I ain't paying $$$$$$$ for a 10$ minigame"

I am curious why I can never get these to finish installing. since I can't read the japanese error it gives, do you have to install these in order maybe? cause my kaede (which to my knowledge is #1) is broken.
