Who funded this show, the Ramen Marketing Board?
I'd hope there might be a bit more actual story in future episodes, because the format of the first episode might have worked better as individual shorts rather than three vignettes where each one has Koizumi eating some type of ramen, while being stalked and pestered by Yuu. |

What a passionate ramen lover!
I think the first epsiode was fun with a main character like Koizumi. Would like to know more about her besides the love for ramen. The humor was done well imo with the character expressions.

Got about two-thirds thru the 1st episode and gave up.
Koizumi-san is not a "mysterious and attractive high school student" (as the promo blurbs state), but an average-looking, stuck-up tsundere who deserves to be friendless for the rest of her life. More than half-way through the premier episode and not a shred of evidence of Koizumi-san having any positive or redeeming qualities that would lure me back for a second helping (or even finish the first one). Not my cup of tea (or bowl of ramen, if you prefer). |

Anyway, I enjoyed the first episode. I didn't come in expecting much of a story; simply being able to listen to Ayaneru and Taketatsu talk about ramen and getting some decent humor along the way is enough for me.

Koizumi-san, a person, a character, who looks genuinely comfortable solo. I sincerely hope she'll be allowed to continue eating ramen by herself too.
[Ramen and series comparison. Chizuru from Kimi ni Todoke comes to mind but while Tampopo is live action that film remains the first immediate association and simply needs a mention whenever ramen stories come up.] |

Dropped, of the CDGCT shows of this season, I rate this on the buttom. Both MC have good and bad features. Yuu is faithful to her character but I found it over the mile. Koizumi at first sight unlikeable but I can understand the desire of eating alone with someone stalked and pestered her. I feel that they don't work together even if the anime takes the route of befriend Koizumi. A pity because the OP is excellent and I liked a lot the design of Yuu.
Btw, the designer of character of this anime has worked in H-stuff? because the design of Koizumi and even his bliss expressions remember me of certain author of H-doujins of very dark stuff. A last thing. Why the CGDCT show of beer don't have a thread? |

Watched episode 2:
Always getting hungry when watching this show... hmm, so Koizumi is not good with spicy stuff, but still eats it. Did she go into the shop in her school unfirom because a student gets something extra?
