Well, now that ending was very interesting. I have a pretty good idea what Kyousuke is trying to do though. And I have to say, I feel more sorry for him then I did before.
Also, it looks like they are going for the romance. I'm sure all the Saya fans are giddy. I like her fine, thought I wouldn't say she's my favorite. That honor goes to Kurugaya by the way. All I can say for next episode is that this probably won't end well. |

Hey, Little Busters is back and wonder if they could top themselves in being ridiculous, and Riki manages to dodge better than your average character in Guild Wars 2, I mean holy crap, that's some flash dodging. And also... random sword ftw!
Meanwhile Riki is having much more fun then he really should, but hey! I'm sure this wins the "This will inspire perverted fanfiction" of the day award. Battle hardened butt, eh? Maybe we should test that. And it's not a boob joke? Shocking! Attack of the JC Staff Sounds like a plan! This was kind of a sad scene at the end, realizing that Saya's almost just reading everything from a script, hoping for a diffrent outcome, but she's deriving whatever little joy she can because hope is that important. Aww, it's all cute and shit. The typical Key pattern of having this pretty annoying girl finally reveal all that suffering they've been through has worked quite well this time. Unfortunately, I feel Riki here is just kind of a lame duck protagonist, while not particularly horrible, isn't really too compelling of a character in this. As I've set before, he could have been replaced by someone else. It sort of makes me miss the rest of the Little Busters as I just don't feel Riki and Saya are capable of holding the show on their own. Although there's still one more episode to consider. Riki's strength has always been how he interacts with the rest of the cast, and here he just doesn't really stand out, although Saya does. Still it's a fun jaunt outside the series itself. Da fuck?

That's it, Saya is officially my favorite Little Busters girl (though Anego still holds a special place in my heart). This arc is so much better than ones in the first season of the series. Is there a reason for that? Different writers?

Like others mentioned this arc has had more romance and better pacing than the entire first season of the show (and even quite a bit of Refrain). It's wonderful that we're getting this but I'm a bit sad that the show proper didn't get such an adaptation. :/
