Because of Erika, a hidden event started in the otome game, which takes place in a war for total annihilation between the old humans vs. the new humans.
The empire has a trap item called Arcadia which is the reason why the ancient humans were defeated in the past and and Leon doesn't have much of a chance to beat him.
Leon decided to leave the kingdom and gather the weapons of ancient humanity to increase his chances of victory as much as possible.
However, León knows that his probability of victory is only 12%. But if he is defeated then the inhabitants of Holfaul and Alzer will be annihilated, and if he wins he must annihilate the entire population of the Empire, so no matter who wins there will be genocide.
Angie and the others try to stop him, but are unsuccessful.

Things were like that in the WN?.

Yes, the ending is near. the final battle between old and new human
with Leon and Fleet of Old human ship as the leading force.
Leon basically gathers all the surviving old human ship with AI, this battle also involved all the old human descendant faction which is basically all the group that appear in 1st and 2nd game.

Old human cannot survive under new human environment and new human cannot live without that something.
hence the war for survival.

Apparently the new Marie Route 10 chapter confirm that the Ugly Man that Angelica was forced to get married to after her exlie in the Game plot, was Leon (as many had predicted).

So, she had been destined to be with him from the start.

Hertrude, Clarice, Deirdre, and Louise forced Leon to agree to any favor in exchange for their help in the coming war. Naturally he said yes without thinking (believing they want money), unaware that he just doubled the size of his harem. Anyone else looking forward to Livia's response?

Roland agrees to give up the throne in exchange for the safety of his mistresses and bastard children. Leon should sweeten the pot by throwing in his sister, Jenna.

So, in Marie's route, it's confirmed that the man Angie married after being exiled was Leon... but the difference from the original route is that Angie probably never got over her love for Julius...,so perhaps he was never totally happy....
As for Leon's girls, call me crazy, but I was hoping Louse would stick with Colin, as I think Leon already has a lot of Waifus (I think we should add Milaine as well), plus I think they would make an interesting couple on theirs right? , but many probably complain about the age difference... well, there's nothing to do XD, hopefully soon there will be more complete spoilers for the volume.

I am ok with others, except Hertrude primarily because of her boobs size (she doesn't fit with the others).
If Hertrauda was still alive and would have come with her to join the harem, i would be ok though (or is there a way that could allow Hertrauda to be revived, i mean this is based on a game world so revival items should be possible).

Yeah, Louise has too big of a gap in age with Colin.
And we don't really know if Colin likes Older Girls.

I know he had a crush on Noelle (who is a few years younger than Louise), but after his heart being broken because Leon took her, he might have grown out of ever falling in love with someone Older, in fear of them being NTR'ed by Leon (especially after Leon takes in Mylene in his Harem, which some might consider as him NTR'ing the King even-though it's not).

As for Louise in Leon's Harem.
Well, she fills the important role of the Sisterly Wife, the type who would take care of her Husband as a Caring Older Sister would.

If i am right, each member of Leon's Harem covers a specific aspect of a relationship.

To be fair, he believes he's going to die in this battle, so he hasn't really given it much thought.

Maybe in time she got over Julius. I remember her showing some affection for Leon when he was within her consciousness.
And speaking of Leon, I saw that a new route focused on Hertrude came out and that in it Leon fights in favor of Fenoss and has Brave as a partner, does anyone know if this is true?
