Yukimura apologized in twitter but didn't explain the reason. Still, he already plans to write the next one based on a comment he made about his manuscripts.

New chapter was so harsh on Thorfinn. His hallucinatons are trying to ruin his morals but I do find it strange that Askeladd wasn't present there. However, Hild's support towards Thorfinn sure is nice to see.

One thing I know for sure is that Thorfinn will at least leave Vinland since Yukimura recently mentioned in an interview he is trying to follow history. However, the real Thorfinn passed away at the age 27 which the fictional kinda looks like (I think he remembered he was 22 when talking to his sister after the slave arc). So, at least let's hope Thorfinn will stay true to his values and run away rather than even think about fighting.

It's not a matter of fighting. The first arrow most likely punctured his lung and he was hit by several others afterward. The natives were positive he was done for. I think he'll only survive long enough to see and name his child. No way he's making it all the way back to Greenland in this state.

One of the popular theories is that bugeyes will pretend to be the real Thorfinn, keeping Vinland safe and isolated, so its bugeyes who dies at 27. But eh I don't think that's going to happen with the way things are going.

The hallucination really felt like a reflection of how MAPPA ended season 2. However, this time the hallucination characters have no eyes? Wonder if Einar really will do something considering the previous chapters. I was told that Einar kinda lost some focus after leaving the farm and the recent chapters are making him stand out more.
