This episode lacked proper momentum for most of its scenes when it had a rather good buildup from the previous episode. What happened was cool to see, but how it happened? Not so much. The things that I particularly liked this episode:
- Focus on Riko's lips when she forms a sinister smile. It's rather arousing. lol - Aria's eye expressions and her serious tone. This is simply a very likable side of her which gives off vibes of a real pro imo. - Shino's facial expression when Akari broke free of her hug to go to Aria. I genuinely felt bad for Shino... Basically, nothing related to the action that I expected. I can only assume this episode had some kind of hiccup. I was also surprised to see a rather lengthy recap at the beginning of the episode that I found to be obsolete. As a result it made me lose my patience and I skipped the OP sequence to get to the main part faster. Now, as for the content at hand. We finally get to see a glimpse at Akari's true potential, whatever it might be. Magnetism? Electricity? At any rate, Aria at least half-witnessed it so she is getting closer to reveal the mystery around her. Like a true Holmes! Props to Reki for being a silent badass and the true lone wolf. Meanwhile Urara seems to have... a fat ass? I wouldn't be surprised if she saw Akari in a new light now, heh. And Fuuma... is clumsier than I had imag- *remembers the scene where she got bribed by Aria and the scene where she jumped after Kinji into the river* nvm, Fuuma is just Fuuma.

Well. Akari really does have that power after all. I'd been leaning towards "just a dream" before.
The action scenes were not great in this episode, and Akari's tactics were abysmal. Charging the bratty ojou the instant she fired her sixth shot would have accomplished a lot more than huddling at a distance. Did Reki's last shot miss? It looks like she completely failed to knock the thing away, and from what I've heard of her she should have been able to shoot something in some way to somehow accomplish her goal no matter how heavy the object was.

What was this? The season had been relatively fine to watch so far, and here comes this climax(?) and you'd expect even higher quality, right?
Not only was the animation crappy, the story sucked to hell too. Why? Maybe it should just stick to yandere-yuri stuff instead of... I don't know. I don't even know how everything could be so bad.

Not only that, she almost got killed on the spot by Takachiho by being shot in the head! Don't know if Urara's magnum bullets are either blanks or not.
Meanwhile, I'm interested on Akari's electric powers after watching this week's episode. Also, seems that Riko Mine has an ally... |

either its just me that the fight between Akari & Urara feels mundane & anti-climatic, like a bunch of senior citizens on their motorized wheelchair attempting at drifting 0.6 k/mph level of intensity, i was expecting a lighting fast speed kung-fu gunfight between them, heck even how Urara reloads is at a slow relaxing pace as Akari never even bother to try take advantage of that

And speaking of Akari's fight against Urara, I agree that it was slow and anti-climatic. It would be better if she moved quickly when Urara is reloading and see if that ojou can defend herself while putting magnum bullets onto the chamber one-by-one! |
