(L+CR) 18: Kimi to Tsunagaru Puzzle (The Puzzle that Connects to You) Anticipation

The staff of the "Art of 18" stage event at Tokyo Comic Con announced on Saturday that director Koji Morimoto (Magnetic Rose, Extra, Beyond) and Gonzo are working on a television anime series tentatively titled 18 Anime that will air on Tokyo MX and BS Fuji in 2017. Morimoto is credited as chief supervisor on the anime.

The Art of 18 is a multimedia franchise that currently includes Mobcast's 18: Kimi to Tsunagaru Puzzle (18: A Puzzle Connecting to You) "mysterious puzzle RPG" smartphone game. The game is already available for Android and iOS devices.

The project also includes game creator Tetsuya Mizuguchi (Rez, Lumines, Child of Eden, pictured in third image above) as another principal creator.

The premise/story:

The story is set in a dream world where the player has to find a party and fight at the "Dream Masters" stadium to save the Sleeping Princess.

I'm... not really sure what to think about it. It definitely just threw the audience into the middle of everything, never the most brilliant of decisions, and I'm not even sure they will explain what is going on.
Some guy (who was chill enough until he decided to lecture the girl ) sleeping and building a harem without having to do anything in real life, so that when he wakes up, he wakes up to a harem?
It wasn't that bad once I figured out what was generally happening.

That said, I thought this was a Gonzo original and was quite disappointed to learn that it was based off some mobile game. How could that go wrong? (sarcasm)
