Grisaia: Phantom Trigger is getting an anime adaptation.

For info regarding this series:

“Grisaia: Phantom Trigger” takes place after the existing Grisaia trilogy, and features a completely new group of heroines as well as a new protagonist. The story follows a class of students at Mihama Academy, which has been converted by anti-terror organization CIRS into a ‘specialist training school’ for a new generation of operatives.

The spinoff "sequel" is a kinetic novel and all ages. I think it should work out if there's enough budget to animate everything.

I hope they won't butcher it......

I won't call Grisaia anime bad. Objectively adaptations of Meikyuu and Rakuen were quite good.

As for the Kajitsu. Yup, they cut to much from Sachi and Michiru routs and change Yumiko route hard (but it was understandible, as it is to stand-alone). But I really like Makina route adaptation and Ang... Amane route one was decent (though some people got Kazuki's motivation wrong because of some cuts in anime).

I really sometimes think that it is Michiru fans who hate Grisaia anime the most.

Hopefully they've learned their lesson from Kajitsu, which it seems they have.

Each part of Phantom Trigger is just around 3-4 hours long so there should be no issues with pace.

It is simply a personal studio of the director of previous seasons that he established this May.

I finished watching Vol 4 a week ago. I really like Murasaki ("Russian Ninja").

For those who don't know:

Vol 1- Intro arc
Vol 2- Rena arc (Maki joins cast)
Vol 3- Tohka arc (Gumi joins cast)
Vol 4- Chris arc (Taiga joins cast).
