I've just installed the win10 anniversary update (1607). Now a message keeps popping out saying "This app can't run on this pc".

So then i then tried to uninstall the said app (Daemon tools pro), under normal mode and safe mode. Both method failed. It still wouldn't let me uninstall.

How do i fix this? Other than rolling back the win10 update.

I need more info. Why can't you uninstall it. What's the error for that? And does your "can't run this app" error have anything else on it?

When i tried to uninstall from control panel (even via safe mode), click uninstall it does nothing, but will only popup again "This app can't run on this pc" at the bottom left corner of your window

Looks like this might be related to your problem.

You might also want to check some of your other programs to see if they need updates to work properly with Anniversary. If so, you most likely won't need to go through the steps above. Daemon Tools works at the drivers level of Windows, so updating to a new version of the OS can cause compatibility issues as with drivers. That's probably why you're having the problem you are.
