DO you like shouta-ish or feminine male leads in your seinen romances?

To clarify: I'm talking about male leads who are shouta-ish in the same way that Azusa from K-On! or Tenshi from Angel Beats are "loli-ish" - more a description of build than age.

Characters like Renji Asou from EF, Asaba from Iriya no Sora, UFO no Natsu, and Haruka from Yosuga no Sora are great examples of what I'm talking about.

Personally, I'd rank these characters as among my favourite types of male leads. They're likable in the same way that the stereotypical "high spirited moe girl" (ie. Miyafuji from Strike Witches) is likable. In a way, I suppose their lack of much masculinity gives them a certain underdog appeal.

As a side note, Charlotte Dunois from Infinite Stratos is a dead ringer for this character type when she dresses as a guy. Probably why I liked her a lot when she was introduced despite not normally caring for reverse trap characters.

Hmm, does Mikado from Durarara! count? He's pretty funny.

Its okay being Shota-ish just as long as he doesn't turn into a wimp.

I'm blanking on his name (Shiritaki?) but the lead male from Mahoraba: Heartful Days... but yeah they're fun. I don't *prefer* them but they're a lot better than the "dumb as rocks" choice we see too frequently. I also like the mature type -> (Zakuro's guy, Horo's guy)

Feminine males are okay in romantic dramas/comedies and such, but otherwise I'd much rather a have a strong take-charge male lead with great physical capability and average to great intelligence.

If a feminine male lead actually manages to develop OUT of those tendencies and become somewhat more masculine, that shows good character development, which I like even more.~

NO!

Not in seinen, shoujo, shounen, or anywhere. But as traps, or in yaoi, yes

I also equality hate overly muscular and/or broad-shouldered character designs (main-stream 80s and 90s, as well as american animation).

I would hope he does. He's a true bromantic foil.

I don't see anywhere the term "for boys, shounen, or GAR." Plus it looks all feminine to me, like it's meant to be for girls only. Bad example.
