It has plenty. A lot of novels have been getting publications real early on as of late.
Like 柑橘ゆすら's newer work got one at like 100k letters, and the guy updates less than 2k letter chapters once a week.
That basically means the wait for a second volume will be forever at that snail pace.

Author also wants to go from daily updates to every other day updates.

It was fundamentally not that useful considering their numbers. It still makes more sense to use stone though. It could hurt physically, easier to restock than unko, not to mention the hygiene side.

I prefer non-harem. You can have lots of cute and strong girls in a novel without making 3 or more of them liking or attracted to the MC romantically. An example of that is Kenja no Mago. Also, having many side couples also helps to add the number of female character that act cute in front of the men they like without having to feature a harem for the MC.

Many people in Japan are also tired of harem novels, and some would rather read a novel where all the characters are females than one where the MC gets a harem.
