It's pretty funny how their the only opponents Anos can't win against. They're truly his parents in the sense that all reason means nothing before them.

The translation for volume 5 has started being released.

Weird how the public hated his guts, and now they're practically kissing the ground he walks on. Now even the Royal Students that treated him like street trash are scared just to go near his old seat at school. Also, now that everyone knows Lay is Hero Kanon and Misa was the Fake Demon King Avos, they've become pariahs at school with most of their classmates being terrified. Talk about a 180 at the Academy!

The only thing that hasn't changed is Emilia. She's still bitter about her punishment. I question whether or not she ever intends to approach her family. Elio Ludowell is very loyal to Anos, and with the new system in place, she wouldn't be persecuted.

Wow, Emilia is such a miserable person. Apparently the only thing she had in life was her pride and status. When Anos took that away, she was revealed to be an antisocial mess who dislikes people and is not particularly good at anything. She kept her job teaching NOT because she liked it, BUT because it was the only thing she didn't suck at. I'm beginning to think looking down at people was just her way of filling the emptiness in her life, because it made her feel bigger and more fulfilled.

Almost makes you feel bad for her... ALMOST...

Also, she gripes about how she can't see her family in her current state, but this doesn't make any sense. Her father Elio is literally one of the Demon King's most loyal retainers.
