Synopsis

The OP Is pretty lively and fun! Showing off a lot of cuteness and some sexy shots of Katase and Katase and Shinozaki running with each other across the supporting .

Katase is on the road to becoming a literal catgirl the amount of meowing and cat imagery she's got going for her...on top of being irresistably cute .

So they've got Nobunaga Shimazaki as their manager while Yumiri Hanamori is playing Shinozaki's childhood friend/stoic co-worker? Who he ends up being a third wheel to because his Senpai wants to get to know her better. Tough break, buddy .

If that was the kind of abuse of authority prevalent in office jobs (giving your kouhai drinks, taking them out to dinner, wanting them to tell you about your achievements so they can praise them), the world would be a much better place .

I see Katase isn't completely immune to Shinozaki's charms when just feeling his jacket on her is enough to turn her into a blushing mess. And I imagine Shinozaki won't wash that jacket any time soon with her scent on it now .

Now Shinozaki is getting in on the meowing fun! Or should I call him Meowzaki ?

The ED is pretty pleasant with a soothing theme and the visual of Katase in her PJ's .

Katase is definitely not annoying. She is a bundle of cute every which way. What teasing she does is very lighthearted.

There's actually a sequel manga, technically. Or maybe this is the prequel. I've never been entirely sure because I don't know which one started first.

Whatever the case, the other manga shows Shinozaki and Katase as newlyweds. Basically, every chapter ends with, "And then the ****ed"

Yet it's still incredibly wholesome.

Katase is great. Has all sorts of charm and also can be the most adorable of cats. Seriously I think she created a fetish for Shinozaki in wanting to hear her go all out meowing in the future . Or at least I hope there's a good excuse for her to do that again .

Honestly it's nice how both characters really are into each other. Just good moments all over the place.

I can put aside the basic setting and I can put aside the adult lady acting like a kid most of the time, but the protagonist acting like he has a boner most of their interactions was cringey
These interactions could be cute and romantic when used right, but this is the first episode and all of a sudden, the audience sees this girl asking her coworker to eat at the palm of her hand. Like... what?

First morning in the office and we've already got Katase and her boobs right in-between Shinozaki's legs! Well, only because she was looking for a pen under his desk, but still .

Find a manager who will wingman the #@$% out of your relationship like this pair, even down to snagging them a romantic dinner and then following them so he can watch and see the romance unfold. Although a part of me can't help but wonder if this dude should focus on his own life and job .

(Also Hayakawa and the manager? They seem to pair up a lot ).

Uh oh! Shinozaki's been afflicted with the Japanese Cold! Perfect chance for Shinozaki to pay him a home visit and take care of him like she's already his girlfriend/wife. She even held his underwear! This is totally normal behavior from platonic co-workers, though the manager still manages to get involved anyways .

I love how Shinozaki gifts Katase an apron (at Hayakawa' suggestion) and her first assumption is she's going to cook more at his house. He's as much on her brain as she is on his .

Talking about Shinozaki's hiring and Katase's embarrassing reactions to it? Perfect excuse for flashbacks! From Katase acting like they're about to have Akina's baby join the office or trying to hold herself back from fawning over her new kouhai that she looks like she might be a stern Senpai, to going all gaga over Shinozaki calling her Senpai for the first time. The pairs' first meeting was as adorable as you would expect .

What's the better eyecatch? Professional office lady Katase or cute PJ Katase? Either way, the boobs stand out .

You know these two are down bad when they start seeing themselves in cute plushies, and both like cute things. I wonder if we'll meet Shinozaki's sister ?

I guess that rooster felt that the pair absolutely needed to have both plushies of themselves...which they name after each other...and Katase is taking Takuma-kun and Shiori-chan with her so they can always be together...and just having Shinozaki name it after her was a critical hit for Katase !

Ah yes, when you ask for the romantic history of your co-workers when you have none yourself...and neither do they. Though it was fun hearing about Hayakawa's encounter with her "prince charming," even if it turned out to be Akina and her finding out about his obsession with getting Shinozaki and Katase together basically killed the romance :inoncent:.

Katase doesn't think she has any romantic experience despite being in an office romcom, but when you see her dressing up the Takuma Bear Dog like it's really him, turning it away so it doesn't see her undress, or want it to see her fresh out of the shower (woof!)...and that's not even getting into seeing the two plushies on-top of each other and imagining it was actually them, with Katase leaning in for a kiss. I think their feelings got a little beyond a kouhai and Senpai who get along .
