It's time! Credit goes to AP's Redon for the info:

-Chapter title is "Ruins of Oden Castle". Splash continues the ending of the ministory, featuring Leo, Ideo, Hajrudin, and Orlumbus.

-As Otama is taken back home while under the protection of Speed, Luffy's group are seen off by the people of Okobore Town as they head off to Oden Castle. Okiku asks to come along as well, to help them find their target. Meanwhile, at the Flower Capital, we see several young students receiving a lecture from their teacher, who is a rokurokubi. The children are taught that closing off the nation is necessary to keep it protected, and that opening it up to the rest of the world would be a wicked action which would invite evil outsiders and their equally vile ideas into the country. The teacher explains that a group of evildoers once attempted to open up the country's borders..... who turns out to be Kouzuki Oden and the "Nine Red Scabbards". However, a "hero" punished those so-called villains.... the Shogun Kurozumi Orochi.

-At a restaurant in the capital, a man known as Inemuri Kyoushirou, who is a purveyor of the shogun's clan, is drinking, while calling his lord a coward. Interestingly, Robin (in her geisha disguise) is seen dancing in that very restaurant. In the middle of his drink, the purveyor recites a curse uttered by Oden's wife when the castle was set ablaze 20 years ago:

Quote:
The moon knows not of the dawn.
If it comes to pass, then that determination will cast nine shadows from the moonlight that interweaves 20 years together.
Then you will know the dazzling dawn.
^According to Kyoushirou, Orochi interpreted those words as a prophecy of the spirits of nine samurai warriors gathering together under the moonlight in 20 years' time, to take revenge upon him.....

-Back to Luffy's group, they arrive at the castle ruins. Oddly, Zoro has disappeared again, while Okiku becomes emotional and runs off after seeing the ruins. Luffy is surprised when he sees the graves of Kinemon and the rest. Coincidentally, Kinemon himself appears at the ruins! Upon seeing him, Okiku embraces Kinemon, referring to him as her master. Soon, Sanji's group arrive at the ruins as well, with Momonosuke in tow. With everyone gathered together, they step inside the castle....

-Kinemon reveals his great secret to Luffy: He, along with Momo and his other samurai companions (Okiku included), are people from the past. More specifically, they have crossed through time from the Wano of twenty years ago....!!!!!!

Time Travel. Never would have expected this. Reminds me of the Outlander series. I’m glad the Strawhat crew are back together despite not seeing Usopp and Franky with them.

Time Travel!? Really Oda...
Oh wait, this is probably the more realistic version where you could only go forward. Meaning that Momo and his retainers can’t return to the past.

Btw, does anyone think Kaidou is from Wano. He and his men are just too integrated into Wano’s society.

So time travelers rather than ghosts. Curious regarding the specifics.

Eh, I doubt it. It's definitely implied that Kaidou is an outsider.... it's just that he's been the shadow ruler of Wano long enough that his crew's presence hasn't raised suspicion among most of the common folk. Still, the fact that the shogun is subservient to him speaks volumes of how much power he wields over the country.... the fact that it's isolationist is pretty much the cherry on top for him.

On a related note, Kinemon's group apparently being time travelers also kind of clues us in on how long Kaidou's held dominion over Wano. That is, if he was involved in the events of 20 years ago (which is looking more and more likely at this point, IMO)....

Perhaps a devil fruit that can send people and objects forward in time.
Those things seemingly have the ability to warp reality, so why not.

Speaking of DFs, does anyone else think that the ancient kingdom, which was presumably built on Raftel, created them?

They might have just been sealed away for 20 years. Travelers through time just sounds cooler.

Seems like something Aokiji could do, too. Just freeze someone to keep him in cryogenic state.
I wonder if it was their own decision, an accident, or a hostile act.

Only five of them were sent to the future, but the prophecy speaks of nine samurai. If using or carrying a katana is enough to be seen as a samurai (according to Luffy), then Zoro, Law and Luffy will fill three of the spots. Who will be the last one?

maybe Jimbei since he was called knight of the seas and samurais are knights in japan.

Just added that nugget of info to the updated summary! Sorry Ramero, but it looks like you'll have to wait a bit longer for any new Zoro vs. Sanji gags, heh.

Anyway.... what a surprise, that school teacher is a clone, too. At least that Inemura guy has a unique design (wonder if he'll turn out to be an arc boss?). Anyway, there were a bunch of little things I liked about this chapter, like Law's disgust at the idea of pirates doing good deeds, Carrot "garchu"-ing Luffy, Kinemon and Bepo's diarrhea (guess they've both been eating the tainted food, heh ), and Sanji instantly fawning over Okiku when the group gathers in the ruins (unfortunately for him, it looks like her eyes are set on Kinemon). I'm also curious if Inuarashi is at Wano.... because last time we saw Momo, he was under the dog man's care at Zou. It certainly would help to have him around, since he'd make a strong, reliable ally....

Well..... maybe Brooke could count? He doesn't carry a katana, but at least he's also a swordsman. Heck, I even remember he held his own against Kinemon (or his torso, anyway) at Punk Hazard....

Eh, I doubt that. His epithet in the original Japanese uses a word that more specifically describes a valiant yakuza, not a knight or samurai. Calling him the "knight" of the sea is more of a fancy localization than anything.

This whole "sent forward twenty years from Wano's past" bit has Devil's Fruit written all over it. It actually makes everything thus far make a lot more sense, since it would explain a whole lot.

Makes me wonder who had this time fruit for this moment to happen; Oden, his wife, or someone else.
