It's not accident, this is the affect of the causality conductor.
If Takeru continues to stay there eventually 6 billion people will die due to the causality from the beta world.

Well it's either continue living as a human but as a brain in a tube. Or getting a artificial body back but live as a military weapon. Both doesn't seem like fun option to me.

I just realized the survival girl in back in the first episode of the first season was reintroduced in ep.17 (Uzuki Sakura)

And some of those new faces are actually main characters from Kimi ga Nozomu Eien.

Kimi Nozo & Muv Luv are created by the same company. Even the captain, Isumi is from another game. Kimi ga Ita Kisetsu.

Great, and entertaining episode. Cool Action, tactic with good looking animation and CGI

Well done. I have nothing to complain. Let's hope the rest of action-focused episodes have this much budget put into them as well.

Oh nice, it's good to see that the anime studios are not just adapting the VN/Manga fully and adding their own twist for the anime.
