That was definitely amazing. Lots of great actions sequences and they did a good job fleshing out some characters who needed it (Yuta) and giving some closure to others.
Spoiler for Movie spoiler:

This is basically Payoff: The Movie. Just like Avengers: Endgame but with less cringe & no plot-convenient rat. Everything else has been said, but I'm glad that I get to finally see... Spoiler for plot point:
My only disappointment is that we don't get to see Sigma & Hyper World and how they work considering this might be the last anime that we'll get from the Gridman universe (no pun intended). Otherwise, this is a fantastic cap off to the Gridman saga.

I'm a bit late to the party, but this was a very, very wonderful blend of fanservice of various kinds, as well as a wholesome arc that provides closure to the few loose threads that we had, as well as just telling a bonkers story that only Trigger can come up with without causing massive cringe.

I enjoyed the movie, a lot of action and I was glad that the dynazenon cast were there early and not just a crossover in the end. Happy for the confession at the end too.
my only issue was that I was hoping for gridman, gridknight, dynazenon, glodburn and the neon genesis fused all together in 1 epic mecha. I don't know how but it would've been so cool... |
