Seriously even an ancient vampire, or a legendary conman could be seen enjoyed their meal in Mister Donut, is there any cooler advertisement? |

It was Dirty Pair-esque for me, especially the kind of muted way they did the OP.
But yes, good job SHAFT, this is definitely a good make up present from no OP in Shinobu Time. And seriously, I think they are trying to kill the Nadeko fans this arc, just wow. |

I loved seeing Hitagi again and so close up! I love her eyes and her serious look (although she smiled once). And I felt for her when she got up and left to cry in the ladies' bathroom, then returned with softer eyes. I am also happy to hear her VA, Chiwa Saitou, return to sing the new OP, and see different views of Hitagi's character during the OP, although the music was weak, and not as moving as the two OP she had in Bakemonogatari. Well done Shaft!
I knew Kaiki will try to fool Nadeko in believing that Kayomi and Hitagi died in an accident, but I don't believe she will accept that so easily. And I have a hunch that the guy who gave her the original curse of the snake (as explained in Bakemonogatari) will be mad at him and may be the person who Kaiki feels is following him. I don't know if they will meet and what will happen. I do know what Kaiki fins in Nadeko's closet and it is related to something she mentions in Bakemonogatari to Koyomi. I also liked to see Yotsugi Ononoki, and this time she cuter whenever she says "Peace!". Anyway this episode made me feel good about Hitagi! |

great episode, love whenever Kaiki outtalks hitagi.
He tries to play the villain so hard, but deep down, he's a softy. I'm reminded of Kagenui's line about him. Something like "He's such a villain, but he says some good things"

I'm pretty sure we have seen a lot of Araragi/Hitagi interaction. They talk to each other, having lunch together, study together, go on a trip together in Bake, that kidnaping scene in Nise. This season though, they haven;t been seen sharing a scene together. Last edited by Kotohono; 2013-12-13 at 03:56. Reason: offtopic shipper |

Shaft can have their place back for doing unusual opening animations now. They really did it this time.
Action Kaiki detective man is 2 cool 4 me, can't handle it. Hahaha the "yaaay peace peace" thing was funnier this way! The monotone and all so good.

"Three million yen"
30 minutes later "I decline" From start to finish (DAT OP!), this episode was nothing short of brilliant. On the first episode of this arc I said I wasn't very fond of Kaiki, now my regret is that he didn't have nearly enough screentime. |

There was one thing I think Kaiki neglected to consider when he took the money: that Gaen knew he would take the money and do the job anyway.
After all, he was just thinking that he couldn't visit Nadeko more than five more times with his current funds the night before. She could have given him those funds considering his troubling personality. It is what you would expect of a senior, and less what we would expect from her rather overbearing personality in the past. Or, thinking further, maybe we don't know Gaen as well as we think we do, like how we are finding out more about Kaiki now. |
