Nice and easy episode, so I expect the next episode is going to be all combat.

And Nagato's softer and dere side was so adorable. In the end, Nagato too has a maiden's heart.

Also holy crap resources. And the Type 3 shells were a lot more effective here than IRL lol.

Yes. As a Yamato-housing Admiral, she's way up there for resources- so much so that i have only deployed her like 10 times so far.

True that T3 Shells along with certain equipment setups can possibly wipe an enemy air assault and totally neuter enemy carriers in game.

Also quoting what I want to see of Poi K2 from another forum:

I would like Yuudachi in particular suffer a near sinking- so much damage that she still needs bandages (over most of her face save for one eye), a sickbay bed and still unconscious after being docked. Fubuki, Mutsuki and co. get notified of the "prognosis" that they are unsure what actually will happen to her- or if she even wakes up.

Then come one of Fubuki's sorties now in the deep south. As our protagonist slowly loses against the odds, in true shounen fashion, the single eye opens- now colored bloody red.

and we all know what happens next.

It will be interesting to see how will they show Poi changes to Kai Ni Poi.

Will she go in a room and come out as Kai ni or will she transform right in the middle of a battle (like magical girl tranformation).

Kai is literally the same as the pre-kai forms. They just get a shinier and different color background portrait on their card in the game.

Only Kai ni changes appearances / outfits

First option is too boring, unless Yuubari gets called to perform a extreme makeover or if it's done while everyone else is having a rough battle. Or both.

Don't they look so warm? And it shows her underwear is lewder than Shoukaku's.

Also, don't know if the anime has actually show them, but Ooyodo has those "pockets" as well.

Nagato is going to try to talk the Admiral into trying to take objective MO. As long at they don't head out to objective MI they should be "fine". Though the Solomons were no picnic for the IJN. At least they still have their fleet carriers at the moment.

(Historically, Yuudachi was the last of the three main character destroyers to be sunk around the Solomons. Mutsuki and Fubuki sank earlier around those islands).

Actually, if you look closely at the crest on her neck early in the episode, it is actually not the Chrysanthemum but the Sakura emblem, which was also the case in the game.
Considering the Chrysanthemum is the symbol of the Great Empire of Japan, it would be really dangerous and clumsy to use it in a game that avoids political messages.

It really depends if you manages your resources while taking in consideration her resources consumption. She is pretty much deployed daily for PVP and weekly for specific quests in my case, even moreso during events.

This isn't a correct general rule. Many ships have different appearances when they are remodeled for the first time.
For instance, every BB and CA turning into BBV and CAV have different images. Likewise, some exceptions like the Shiratsuyu done by Ichiso (except Yuudachi and Shigure, obviously) gets a new art with the first remodel.

I'm of the opinion that Kancolle is probably following the same story format as the first two Nanoha series, save for the fact that the Nanoha series also developed its antagonists while Kancolle doesn't =3

In any case, if it is indeed so, then this should probably be the last SoL episode and the next three would push the story to its climax, with leaving the last episode to wrap up everything after the battle. And Tanaka-willing, maybe leave enough space for a second series =3

Just a guess of course, so I could be wrong on all counts =3.

Back to the episode, the first thing that came to mind was...

Well, at least we got to see Hotel in swimsuit (bikini even!), something that she never did in the 4koma because of her pa-*SANDANSHIKI-ED*

That Nagamon is perfect Nagamon. It's not the DD molester that fandom eventually flanderized Nagamon as, but the girl who is cool on the outside but soft on the inside much like Sakaki from Azumanga Daioh. Only one or two fanartists nailed it before the anime aired.

I can now sniff a Mutsuki K2 in the works as well.

Speaking of Magic!equipments, My guess is that while the assembly catapult attaches the equipment to the girls, they can actually dress/undress or even summon/unsummon them while another piece of equipment actually detaches the equipment (in a 'permanent' sense).

Mutsu's teasing through all episodes is really great. She's climbed the ladder among my favourites (and Nagato too).
