Yeah, I was reading ahead of the first season anime and it still wasn't terribly interesting.

But it seems like there are a number of web novels that were simply plotted and not very serious that become quite popular for some reason...and some of them have or will be turned into anime. I guess there are a number of readers that don't want to think too much or feel any frustration at all from what they're reading.

Sometimes you simply want to watch something not too deep to spend 20 minutes in a nice way. Series like this aren't going to win any award and probably won't be remembered 10 years from now but can still be enjoyable if you know what to expect from them.

Hiro Shimono, HanaKana, Marina Inoue, Yoko Hikasa, Miyuki Sawashiro...like, this isn't their first rodeo in this kind of show but nevertheless .

I liked the 1st season. I can't wait for the 2nd myself. I hope Nanjou Yoshino does the theme again. She is also one of the voices actors in the show.

They put their entire budget in the voice cast, because it sure didn't go into the animation.
