Miyu Samura is currently struggling looking after a pet dog which was imposed on him by his ex-girlfriend. One day while taking his dog for a stroll, he meets Shinichirou Niwa, a capable dog trainer, causing a big change in the life of the indecisive Miyu.

He also meets the trimmer and Shinichirou's childhood friend Ritsuka Izumi and the veterinarian Suzunosuke Kubou, as well as various dogs and their owners, each with their particular quirks. This is a story about learning, worrying and growing up.
