Another great episode full of both wierdness and great action scenes.
It seems that Bellri's mom just decided that since she's the only one against all this military stuff, she might as well go and join her son with the pirates. The scene of her "accidentally" escaping was hilarious. They have Luin (Mask is a stupid name) and his Mask Corps that is full of kuntalas that want to improve the standing of their people. Klim works his charms on Raraiya in order to get her to pilot the G-Self and find out what she can do. She can indeed fly it, but it will take some work before she can actively fight in battle. She does seem quite natural with the machine though. However, now that Raraiya is beginning to become more lucid, she's pretty cure and charming. Also, we now meet the Looking at next week, Bellri will reunite with his mom, Aida will reunite with her Dad, and Luin will show up again.

A battleship sized MA on the protags side?
YES PLEASE Lol at Bell's mom's antics It just really hit me that Hime-sama sucks at piloting......and Krim's Montero is really lacking Anyways it seems both sides are secretly building up military power, the question is now though, which side has more manpower and industrial strength to fuel their war machines? At this rate it really is going to escalate into an all out war, and on top of that, Ameria personally intervened at the end of this episode. Next ep should be interesting |

Surprised to see Raraiya pilot the G-Self again even since she appeared in Episode 1. As for Luin and his Kuntala Corps, they sure fight valiantly even though G-Self can pull something like firing a barrier-like beam from its chest.
Man, I feel that I wanna call G-Self as the prototype Turn A. |

Also those eye catches. Sunrise should just do a Gundam Dancing with the UC Stars type show. |

episode 7
Seeing the Elf Bull unit in action was pretty cool. Last epsiode Bellir killed his former instruct in battle, which cause him to feel bad. But this episode his over it. That was fast or may be there not showing it do time constraints. Bellri’s mom is like while nothing to do here and jets out off the station in pretty nice ride. I kind of find Klim a bit creep with his interaction with Raraiya. Raraiya is not in the best site of mind. Him using his charms to get her to pilot the gundam, while she full aware of what happening comes of a bit creep to me. |

I couldn't help but lol at the way Belri's mom escaped. That entire act she put on was hilarious.
Also Klim Nick is one of the best parts of this show so far. The way he was sweet talking Rariya into piloting the G self and her nickname for him was just too much. It's also funny how he is so arrogant but loses to just about every named character.

I also found Bellri's moms escape highly amusing. Overall it was a very enjoyable episode except for two things:
1) Bellri himself unfortunately remains an unintentional enigma. I really hoped Dell's death would be the catalyst to get some more perspective from him and perhaps make him question why he's even on the damn pirate ship in the first place (let alone continue to be on it) but no, he just carries as if Dell's death never happened. It's like he's from a completely different planet or something. 2) Pro tip: Giving control of a powerful giant robot to the hands of a mentally challenged girl is definitely not a good idea. Unsurprisingly things didn't go well and it could have been so much worse thanks to an incredible lack of foresight from Klim Nick. Speaking of Klim...man, I just don't know what to think of him now. He's still my favourite character but this really put me off him. Frankly I was incredibly uncomfortable with the way he was manipulating Raraiya into the Gundam. It actually struck me as kinda creepy (and I'm pretty sure that's what the story was getting at too) but the fact that he actually put Raraiya into such danger and the fact that it could've ended in such disaster really takes the cake. I sincerely hope someone calls him out on that because that was just seriously messed up.

I'm pretty sure Bellri's on the ship to spy on Amerian forces. Like the units they have at their disposal and whether they're breaking taboos. Last episode he was taking pictures of Amerian troop formations.
It does seem that he's slowly turning, though because he gets himself into all these battles. |

Actually, I'm pretty sure Bellri spying on the ship is only a secondary reason and that he's primarily after the girl.
But even so, that's the problem though. Does Bellri consider spying on enemy forces worth the risk of killing his own friends? I doubt many people would say so and would definitely require some elaboration on Bellri's perspective. But unfortunately we don't get anything and the episode itself (other than the recap) essentially pretends that nothing happened.

Lol the wacky adventures of Mommy Zenam, does it not felt like a throwback to old school anime? I wonder if his mother has "deflected" to join him, what reasons will Bellri have to return to the Capitol Tower and not pledge his service to Megafauna who has been good to him?
Also Haak brought up an interesting point about Klim Nick. I don't think he thought that far out and meant any harm but it is obvious the man is obsessed with the G-Self even though he can't operate it. He had acted out of order to let Bellri run out for tests with the G-self and pretty much the same motivation was behind this incident of letting Raraiya took the controls in the cockpit. |
