I didn't think much about it, but new Ral sounds really weird.
[edit] Good episode for team introduction, I guess. It more like a story episode than action one. Next one is worth looking forward to.

You know, I think I'd like to see more of Team Cross Sword. I mean Spiegel, Strike Noir and Sandrock, all MS whose names start with the letter S and wielding twin blades?

Loved Yuuma's expression about the swim team- "What would they do in a space battlefield?" Though they'll probably always get a water stage, that's how these fighting shows go. At least they've all trained, although their teamwork still needs to be improved. Nice intro for the new Lightning Gundam, still not too sure about Winning Gundam, and Sekai's still punching holes left and right, at least he'll be ready for space or underwater. Miss Ral's old voice, but oh well, will just have to get used to the new one (and hope the original VA recovers, and I don't mean that in the "get back to the show" sense, I know he's probably out by now, given the timing and his age). Funny at least one of the teams don't bother to build their own Gunpla. Ugh, I hope Sekai or Yuuma beats up Sakai sooner or later. Either that or Mao shows up to scold his student for being a jerk, but rival battle would be better. By the way, did they ever said who would repair Build Burning? Sekai has no idea, so it would probably be up to Yuuma, but its still a while until the mid-season upgrade. |

Yeah, I figured Sekai's solution to the lack of ground for stances would be creative use of boosters, and the Build Burning's boosters being powerful Plavsky emitters makes it look beautiful.
Totally didn't see Gunpla Rasengan coming, though. That's something you cannot possibly do with a human hand, so it's nice Sekai actually made distinctive use of the "range of movement" advice he got. I'm thinking Sekai would be exceedingly OP when he makes full advantage of his skill at making his Gunpla do exactly what he wants and the Build Burning's obvious Plavsky hacks. I'm wondering how Sei used it? Plavsky particle constructs ala Green Lantern would have been cool and would've fit with Sei's creativity. And lol at Yuuma echoing my thoughts on the silliness of an all-water team. EDIT: Oh, and lastly, I really love these tournament type shows. I truly felt the mixed jitters and optimist as they were huddling. And Hoshino's sincere, grateful happiness at finally being able to play at this stage and winning Last edited by kuroihikari2; 2014-11-05 at 07:43. |

The blonde lady at the end is most likely the current Meijin, given her shades and acquaintance with Yuuki
Yuuki by this point is probably retired as a Meijin, and is doing promotional work like Sei's dad before him Love the cameos, I cried when I saw a newly animated Sandrock in action We finally get a glimpse of Stargazer if it were actually made for combat Sakai is more interesting, he obviously have been into gunpla for quite awhile and is still studying under the shingyo school. He's also very taken aback by Sekais performance and gunpla choice As a curious observation, that guy with the Destiny Gundam......is he alone? Because if he's gonna own teams solo with a scratch built Destiny. We have a REAL BADASS HERE Lastly don't go hatin on Sekai because he chose to use a punch. He have different names for different moves, and he has been shown to use kicks. This is NOTHING like Build Knuckle aside from its a me lee move Solid episode introducing the team |
