OMG, I need to get that OST. NOW.

Overall, solid episode. It didn't waste any time with the action so far. I'm curious to know if any of the previous season's episodes will make cameos though. Also, that Sekai guy kinda reminds me of Reiji, at least in terms of appearance.

Considering the circumstances of this episode (such as the fact that technically the fight was between Miyaga and Kamiki, with Fumina as support), and the fact that it is just the first episode there's still room for improvement.

Besides, in that Axis raid she was the only one to reach the boss room, which is better than pretty much 99% of the fighters she was initially with.

Lol, the characters of this GBF season could so make up a kdrama.

There's the:
1. female lead with high hopes and dreams
2. the guy she wanted to be with but left her but will probably want to get back with her
3. the new guy who she'll probably want to be with by the time the show is over
4. And that girl everyone likes who will get in their way once in awhile.

That being said, this is still GBF once again. Love the references to Reiji here and there, but also love that Kaze no Stigma feel from Sekai, only to be literally dragged around by Mirai

. With the attack names, we will definitely get Domon feels.

EDIT: Oh, and yeah, badass ED.

Slightly better first episode than the first series, not sure how a gundam can fit into a dom though.

With the new guy's martial arts background, hopefully they won't just fall back on Build Knuckle all the time. At least so far very nicely animated battle, there's always something nostalgic about a ground battle. And ooh, very nice GM.

I don't keep up with all the news, so didn't expect Kamiki to use a Dom for most of the episode. Was somewhat reminded of the Kowloon Gundam for a minute, but that was probably just me.

Everything from the new BGM's to the fights are spectacular Spoiler for Episode 1: It appears that mass base raids are a thing now, as the stinger shows Fumina participating in a mass assault against Axis using her Powered GM Cardigun. She makes it to the end heavily damaged, only to face off against an MG Musha Gundam and a Val Varo that promptly destroys her. So Kamiki does the "have you seen this woman" routine word by word like Domon did... right until he gets caught by the police for inciting a fight since his opponents chickened out. Also, delicious oneesan is delicious The great mystery of the episode though... Kamiki finds the trophy won by Sei and Reiji in the Gunpla Battle Clubroom, and discovers that the trophy has a hidden compartment underneath with a Dom inside. And after displaying his talents in said Dom, it later gets lethally shot by Yuuma's Lightning Gundam... or so they thought. Until it's revealed that the Dom was hiding another Gunpla beneath it: the Build Burning Gundam Ral even knows the Gunpla's name, which means he somehow knew of its existence. Looks like they're making the Reiji - Kamiki connections early, with both Ral and Yuuma recognizing that Kamiki's fighting style has similarities to Reiji's. __________________ Against all the evil that hell can conjure, all wickedness that mankind can produce...
