It was fun until the useless Crown Prince started acting all helpless and shifty after being blackmailed by Irene. I don't see why he doesn't just tell his Mom, hey Irene says she has this dirt on you, you wanna do something about it?

The Crown Prince is pretty garbage. Her mother is even a bigger garbage. She rather pick the incompetent Irene over the competent MC as future Empress because MC's father hurts her feeling in the past.

Thanks to Crown Prince's idiotic action, MC family honor is never able to get recovered.

That's the angle Prince Leofred is playing, but it's a dumb one. The Empress should absolutely know that the Irene she's coddling has dirt on her. Then they can figure out together how to settle it.

Leofred's biggest flaw is his tendency to go everything alone. You can't be a good ruler without learning to delegate and you can't be a good politician without trusted aides and allies.

The 7th prince is also good in assigning right people for the post.

If the Crown Prince and 7th Prince captured a kid stealing their money, Crown Prince wil punish him because "my law" while 7th Prince will try to understand what drove the kid to steal the money before punish the kid accordingly.

Crown Prince is a technically a robot and that is why MC's father and King support the True King that is not a robot.
