Officially confirmed to be the ending of the series, while the runtime will exceed 130 minutes.

Sorry to say this, but this way it will be a borefest to sit through. About 35-36 chapters are left to adapt. I have no illusions that they will skip or shorten some of them, but generally from the promotional material so far, the flashback will be there, the prelude to the final arc will be there, the final arc will be there. Only the post-final arc is pending so far.

The only realistically logical solution is to cut to the final chapter(s) after the choice was made. That way they spare the audience from absolutely meaningless 24-30 minutes while the winner has her victory lap and the losers are coping. I seriously still can't imagine manga readers of the loser camp paying for this to see their favorites losing on the big screen as well.

Consider the following: The amount of chapters left to be adapted is basically the same amount Season 1 adapted when it comes to the page count. But instead of 12 episodes like Season 1, they will condense whatever they have cooked up in about 6.5 episodes of length. That includes story + screentime for the 5 heroines and protagonist. The odds are against them.

The swimsuits are from a yet to be adapted chapter.

Same here regarding the film sticking the landing! Faithfulness to the source is secondary to how well this series can create a plausible path to the end. With that being said, the promo art sometimes is just merely thus. Yuru Camp had a key visual of Rin eating dinner with Sakura, but we never saw that in the second season proper, for instance.

It suffers from the two sides of pacing issues.

1. It dragged out getting to THE CHOICE itself in the final arc by doing different POV chapters about 3 days. = Lot of chapters for progressing little in time.
(Also the different POV chapters make an awful chronological timeline of events where even expert manga readers gave up on putting together those 3 days as there are points, which are just a mess. Wonder how the anime handles this).

2. Prior to and after the choice, monthly, multi-monthly timeskips happen that are really questionable. Mainly how from the ending of Season 2, the story quickly jumps 5 months with only miniature detours before those 5 months. = Few chapters for progressing a lot in time.
(You are supposed to believe that somehow not a single one of them tried to initiate things with Fuutarou outside of their usual meetings, and months just started disappearing rapidly from the calendar off-screen while the status quo didn't change).
