Togari

I recently read this manga, and I really liked it...

Main reason for posting this is because I have a couple of questions concerning the way the manga ended, hoping that one of you guys could shed some light on it...

So, the manga ended in a really wierd place, so I'm wondering if anyone knows the reason why the manga ended that way? Did the mangaka get tired of it or something? Any chance that there might be a sequel or continuation in the future?

Yeah, I liked the series, too.
I heard that the magazine or whatever the series was being published in, cancelled it, so the mangaka just tried to finish it the best he could.

I like the mangaka's new series: Kurozakuro, better, though/

I just finished reading volume 3, and it's really good. Moving, too. For something superficially about violence, sin, and demons, it expresses characters beautifully and realistically.

...

OK, I admit it, I'm trying to make excuses for breaking down in tears when he visits a hospital. But unless it changes dramatically between volume 3 and the end, I highly recommend it. The feel is maybe a bit like Berserk (but not as cold and impersonal), or Elfen Lied (but not as gory). But the focus is less on violence or horror, as in those two, and more on character development.

When you say this, are you talking about Togari or Kurozakuro? Because not only was Togari kinda bad, but I also can't remember any tear-inducing scenes in it at all.

I was talking about Togari. And what do you know, after volume 3, the direction changed totally and it became bad. That was totally unexpected!

This manga deserved a better ending than that.... i mean at least let Tobe get those 50 sins back and kick that double personality guy's ass >.< Also i would have wanted to see Itsuki x Tobe .... bah -.-

Absolutely loved it, Also thought the ending was beautiful and meaningful in its own way. I didn't mind the open endingness of it.

Anyways a great manga,Shame to see its not getting more attention by many.
