There is an unlikely chance that it could have a sequel series
But yeah volume 19 is the definitive ending. It's sad to see it go

Info on the finale is obscure, so obscure that it can make one doubt that Zombie has actually ended

it was supposed to ended in the previous volume.... even the author already wrote in the afterword that the story is already finished and congratulate everyone for the hard work. The reality is this novel came back again and there might be more continuation in the future too...

It's about tsukkomi and tsukkomi again. The story is mainly about their everyday life. The main problem appeared in the middle of the book, ayumu lose his memory about everyone because of ariel's test. Ariel want to test ayumu if he qualified as a masou shoujo or not. Ariel also give everyone a chance to recover ayumu memories, all they need to do is to make ayumu remember ariel's name within limited time. Out of everone the most desperate one to recover ayumu's memories is sera and the most ignorant one is yu. Yu stated in the beginning that she doesn't care abaout ayumu's memory and just spend her days normaly.

so yu don´t care for the moments they had together ?? also i'm suprised that seras was the one that was the one most desperate to get ayume's memories back

seras affection for him is the biggest among everyone else . As for Yu, she give her reason to ayumu who is crying and panic toward Yu's reaction in the end. (at this moment he already recovered his memory)
Even if he lost his memory, the one who will stay beside him will always be Yu. It doesn't matter if he doesn't remember her, she will never leave his side and be happy together

It's closer to an open end than a harem, but apparently the story is gonna continue so for now I guess the story is ongoing.
