Ayako seems to have more pressing issues (webserver hwarfed)... but it sounds like fansub anticipators are covered.

The problem isn't the webserver, we've done roughly ~10 encodes already and all of them seem to have an error. The scripts has been done for almost 2 days now. Just to wait and see...

well.. when I visit "ayako.snowlava.com" ... I get a href error which indicates a misconfig.
When I try to visit the forums link, I get a "no such page" error.
When I visit "snowlava.com", I get a reasonable homepage of nice mountain scene with 3 links, but after about 3 seconds a pop-in automatically redirects me to a mortgage refinance website. The method was suspicious enough that I'm running some scans now.

So... I'd say ya'll have some webserver issues. Sorry to hear about the encode hell though -- those can really be obnoxious to fix.

Ouch at the encode troubles. Always a bit of a bugbear, especially if it's the raw itself causing the problem. Hope you can resolve it soon, the masses seem to be slavering for their Shuffle! fix. That said - it's great to hear that someone is subbing Memories, so thanks in advance.

It's up and running! Not as perfect as it could be... but since our "best" encoder can only work on weekdays (and with kyoshiro) the encoding quality will be a bit... unsteady somewhat until we get a decent encoder.

Dang lol 76 MB? I don't know anything about how subbing works, but that's pretty small compared to most.

Watching the recap reminds me that Alter or MaxF needs to do a French Maid Figurine of Nerine and the rest of the girls in cluding Neko-Mode-French Maid Ama-san. They can use the new material that allows jiggles.

The quality of both the vids are pretty much the same. Go with the H264 since it's basically 3x smaller. Unfortunately, the video quality isn't that great, but I'm guessing that's what the raw was.

They aren't "volumes"... they are "episodes" (you'll confuse people if you call them volumes).
The series airs weekly on Japan television on Sunday ... someone creates a video file from that (the raw) and then the fansub group translates and subtitles it for our enjoyment as they get spare time --- since its a hobby for them.

If you want to know when the series airs on japan tv, that was already posted earlier in a Memories thread, as well as the episode titles. If you're asking when the subbers will have the next episode ready.... well, thats considered rude and against forum rules. They're released when they're ready <shrug>.

Well episode 2 has been out for awhile! It's pretty much a recap also so don't get hopes up!

I just took a look at Shuffle! Episode 2 and it's basically Kaede's story in this one. I don't get the point, are these episodes just recaps?

yes they are...theres a recap of the story in each of ther girls point of view ~

I see, I assume there are recaps for the characters standing in the first part of the opening....

Good lord just downloaded the opening and that scene where Kaede's dad is holding her back with a knife in her hand is just messed up. That dad must've been messed up if he knew Kaede was trying to kill Rin like that! Strangely enough the music fitted right in there....

Heh. Incidently I've also just seen the opening (Thanks Omniscient!) and was about to comment on that too.
Guess this answered the old question raised a long time ago.
