Just the opening theme/animation will do that, right? Although it seems to me the books are actually a bit lighter hearted, but then again, maybe I just haven't gotten far enough...

Yea, the opening song with and without the animation used to always do that to me but since they ended the last ep with the same song it kinda counteracted it so now I don't feel so down when i hear it.
Even though i've only read 3 chapters i can say that the books are a great read, they provide a bit more depth on the characters and the thoughts of Lawrence, however this is at the cost of the voices especially that of Koshimizu Ami's lovely sweet Horo voice. Up to the 4th chapter in the first novel it seems like everything is slightly more light hearted than the anime however i think chapter 4 will show how different the anime is to the light novel as it contains the first emotional scene between the protagonists, eh i should just say Horo and Lawrence. |
