just how good were the muvluv anime sales ? i am seeign some weird numbers by googling, some volumes sold 800 while others sold 7k which is weird.

Are the originals not that popular to be animated?

because the original intention to animate total eclipse was because it's the one with the biggest variety of mechs and the shorter plot, thus beign able to only spend the money necesary for a one coeur show and use it as a giant add for the mech models. the other muvlvu series require longer series/budget for a proper animation.

something happened during production or te and they went two coeurs, even changing directors.
