Eight episodes in and people are still debating the whole two-course system they use.

Y'all need to get a thread. Seriously. Talking about the difference eight episodes in, and in a thread intended to be for discussion about Erika being in Bloomers! Let's talk about how the Blooms don't have Bloomers in their ranks!

So there's some pretty good buildup going on here. Big school rivalries coupled with a Hong Kong crime syndicate apparently becoming terrorists for some mysterious reason instead of doing normal crime syndicate things. Seems like we'll get some good action here in, I'd guess two or three episodes. Should be fun stuff!

Does this mean we don't get to watch Erika and Tatsuya body the crap out of everyone faster than even we viewers can react to it? I hope not!

I'm still disappointed in the choppiness of the episodes going from one scene to the next, well it just feels awkward since I've read the LN and then going back and watching it feels like things are missing and some scenes getting dragged on while others getting rushed and are lackluster.

It felt like the scene with Tatsuya calibrating the CAD's was that. Not enough awe and etc.

Yeah. They made it seem so-so and not all that amazing.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems to me that Tatsuya got to where he's at more so because of his IQ and knowledge than his actual talents in magic.

I'm confused who Silver Taurus is? obviously it hints at Tatsuya, but I never heard that name before this episode.

Anyway, okay episode. Feel like we're always just singing Tasuya's praise.

Do you remember in episode 2 the scene just before the duel between Tatsuya and Hattori? Tatsuya brought out his gun-shaped CAD. Azusa, the girl with the short, curly, orange hair went ga-ga over the CAD. She was jumping up trying to inspect his CAD which he was holding high out of reach. (The scene reminded me of a puppy trying to jump for a treat that its owner was holding out of reach. I thought it was amusing.) During her babbling, we learned that the CAD was one of Silver Taurus' designs. According to that scene, Taurus is famous magic engineer known for several innovations in magical devices.

Ahh I do remember that scene. Just didn't recall the name being mentioned, thanks.

Seems like Azusa was the only one who doesn't know, according to the scene in this episode.

Nah. The people he /works for/ knows, but remember, Tatsuya said he was a reclusive inventor in FLT. It's unlikely anyone outside FLT knows that Tatsuya and his engineer friend make up between them, Taurus Silver.

There hasn't been any indication that Tatsuya has courted Miyuki. IMO, he seems to be wearing blinders regarding the implications of her behavior.
