I think that's been confirmed since Evans said he wouldn't extend his contract. It'd be hard to see anyone else replace him like Falcon.

I'm interested if Samuel L Jackson will continue with 3 movies left.

This isn't anime. People like Tom Hiddleston as Loki, not the character Loki himself.

So, Marvel now has both Sherlock and The Doctor. David Tennant is going to play Purple Man in the Jessica Jones Netflix series.

^I'll admit, I'm nowhere near as exited about Daredevil as I am Luke Cage or Jessica Jones, but Vincent D'onofrio is pretty damn cool as Kingpin in that trailer.

I know it's not by Marvel Studios, but it's still a Marvel character...

Ryan Reynolds posted a picture of his Deadpool costume for the upcoming movie.

Synopsis (Age of Ultron spoilers)
Quote:
“Captain America: Civil War” picks up where “Avengers: Age of Ultron” left off, as Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain.

Exactly what I was thinking with the entire new Avengers lineup appearing in this movie..... Nice to see Hawkeye finally getting screentime outside of an Avengers movie, though.

We should get used to long cast lists of superheroes, though. Avengers: Infinity War is gonna be crazy-packed with bringing back Thor, Hulk (supposedly), and the Guardians of the Galaxy, probably on top of a lot of superheroes who appear here (assuming the character list doesn't suffer casualties in the Civil War), plus Coulson (you know he'll be there with his fellow Avengers for the finale ) and maybe some of his team from Agents of SHIELD.

Pretty much what I was thinking. Makes me wonder how packed Infinity war will be.

Oh, hey, William Hurt returns as General Ross. And here I thought Marvel studio wants to forget everything about The Incredible Hulk. We might get lucky and see The Leader someday.

Which kind of makes sense. I can see more and more them turning these solo films into hero combos or avenger-lite films.

The summary sounds basically like what one would expect.

No more cheesy than the symbolic representation of Hitler? Hah... Right.

I almost want to create a new thread about Civil War until I see this thread (I believe we need a separate thread to discuss Civil War). Anyhow, I can't wait to see that movie next year.

Yeah, i didn't expect his character return for CA:CW.
Hopefully we might learn about what Betty Ross been doing since she last saw Banner.

I never like Liv Tyler as Betty Ross. I don’t know if it’s the script or her acting, but all I see is her channeling in (or phoning it in) Arwen for whenever she’s in melodramatic scenes. Jennifer Connely is miles better as Betty in terms of movie character, her acting is also superior. It's a shame, Universal & Ang Lee did a good job casting Jennifer as Betty only to be replaced by the inferior Liv. Oh well, now that they’ve re-cast Bruce, might as well re-cast Betty with a more fitting actress.
