Tatsuya doesn't need to get rid of the Yotsuba anymore because they won't cause him any hindering again. Their interests don't conflict, that's why Tatsuya doesn't need to leave the Yotsuba.

Couldn't agree more, not only Katsuto's body was damaged, his pride too. Now they need to be very careful when trying to go against tatsuya.

Kill Lina? Very unlikely. If it comes down to a fight, knowing how strong she is, she can get herself out of there. This could lead to her defecting the USNA, which was one of the future possibilities given from the Visitors Arc. Plus the next volume is going to be called "Escape".

One thing for sure, Edward needs to be put 6ft under.

Who said there was going to be a fight? Even Tatsuya was hit by a sniper once and Lina is not anywhere near Tatsuya in term of awareness, nor does she have regrowth to insta-heal from sneaky poisoned gas, etc.

And lets not talk about her judging that Canopus is stronger than her in term of combat. She only has the higher military rank because she's an s-class...and Clark has McLoad and Igor with him (two SCMs).

edit: about the next volume title, 2ch pretty much believes it's about Tatsuya's ESCAPE project...which is really the only thing he can use to get out of his current problems.

The principal, vice-principal and Jennifer Smith call Tatsuya in and ask him if he is TS. The Principial received a letter from the USNA, from their Embassy from the NSA. Tatsuya doesn't answer if he is TS. They tell him that if he accepts he can automatically graduate since they understand his skills.

Just because they're SCMs doesn't mean they have high combat power. Mcloud isn't affiliated with the Stars, which consists of the strongest combat mages the USNA has to offer, so that tells ya already he doesn't have high combat ability, at least ability that's not up to par with star standards and Igor is mainly a scientist outside of his duties as a SCM. In the USNA army Canopus is the only one that is said to rival her in combat when Brionac is not deployed, so everyone else is considerably weaker.

The title could mean either or both, we'll just have to wait for the preview to have a good idea.

Also this might surprise some of ya who thought Maya was enjoying this

During a secret communication between Edward, William and Igor its mentioned that Taurus Silver, the japanese high school student is the Strategic-Class Magician responsible for the "Great Bomb" (This is how Igor finds out). Things continue on with the name that the japanese gave it and what it is. Material Burst, being mass conversion.
It's mentioned that it is a threat that will destroy the worlds military balance.
Igor asks for the identity of Taurus Silver and Edward mentions that the three of them should meet on a ship, which happens to be the newest aircraft carrier from the USNA

In Ch2- The GAU used a modified version of Active Air Mine to kill a large number of people. While Shizuku was supposed to the one on record to be the founder of this magic, after Tatsuya was named a member of the Yotsuba he no longer needed to hid his identity and was named the creator of this magic. However it created a lot of bad press and publicity for Tatsuya and blame is thrown his way. Because of this the 9SC is cancelled and the other schools blame Tatsuya for it.

Tatsuya try to avoid pressure by moving.

Katsuto, Mayumi, and Mari still try to talk him into it.

Tatsuya realizes this is a trick and refuses, Tatsuya and Katsuto try to resolve their difference by a duel.

Tatsuya penetrates 24 levels of Katsuto’s barriers.

Tatsuya realizes Katsuto is overclock. (sign of magic over use->user exchange life energy for magic power)

Katsuto hits Tatsuya with his Phalanx to the point of puking blood.

Tatsuya disassembles 32 levels of Katsuto’s barriers.

Tatsuya recovers with regrowth.

Tatsuya uses baryon lance carbonizes Katsuto’s left elbow and the arm fall off.

Katsuto does not know what hits him, Tatsuta explains.

Mayumi try to help Katsuto.

Mayumi and Mari remind Katsuto to use neutron barrier.

Tatsuya explains why that is useless (Katsuto’s barrier already contains neutron shield.)

Katsuto admits defeat.

Tatsuya regrowth Katsuto’s arm.

Erika, Miki, Leo, and Honoka take care of the Japan intelligence agents who observe the fight and try to finish off Tatsuya while he "was" wear down.
