Was curious about the news of a new Code Geass season so I decided to watch.
Holy shit I can't wait for season 3 to come out. I need more of my Spinzaku, and I want Table-kun to regain his dignity.

Personally, I think bringing Lelouch back is already an error.

I don't mind a story where his post-death plans goes all wrong and the people left has to deal with it because power hungry people wouldn't just accept loli-rulers, Geass is still a thing as are Geass Canceller and Suzaku was never good "Hero of Justice" material.

The thing about Code Geass that makes it so interesting is this. The death of Lelouch only works out if you assume 2 things. (They're later found to be true)
1. Somebody understood why everything that happened that day happened (Kallen at the very least knew Nunally knew and both have said something)
2. Zero stays hidden and nobody finds out Suzaku is zero.

As long as they keep those things true peace can be held and eventually people will forget Lelouch.
The key to this story by the way is how the first few episodes shape up and that's gonna be all we need

Will Clamp draw characters design again this time?
It seem Clamp has very underwhelmed reception in Code geass project, Code geass often recognized as Sunrise work but Clamp name seem barely mentioned.

And no, it was (and is) widely known who did the designs (they are quite easy to distinguish from others shows. I mean - some characters *couh*Suzaku*couh* look like characters from TC. Not to mention ED cards.

I guess most people just often don't thing about who did the designs. Go ask people who watched FLCL - most people wouldn't know who's work is this (the name), but they will name GAINAX. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Of course, it always felt less Clamp-y and more Kimutaka-y thanks to his amazingly distinct character designs.

I wonder how the relationships between the characters will work in this new project.

We know CC is with Lelouch but the series was never clear about them, will Lelouch reach that place where he can be more than just CC's partner?

Another thing is about Kallen, I remember some theories about her moving on and getting a partner but I'm not so sure considering she love Lelouch. Spinzaku will stay alone forever considering how focused on the military aspect his mind was. Nunnally... hmm she's probably the ruler (?) but for some reason I thing she will die.

That doesn't sound like Kallen at all- I'd be really surprised if a new character* was introduced as her love interest. She probaby still pines over Lelouch's picture in her photo-wall.

I agree about Spinzaku being forever alone though, definitely.

*I'd take a new character though, if that meant the Gino nonsense went away, ugh. Sunrise do not dare troll me that way!

He's the guy standing next to Kallen in the wedding pic of Ougi and Villetta.
I also thought there was something about him pursuing her after R2 was over.
